My name is shawn and I am the Captain of Team SGA. I would like to start by asking for all the VA teams to step up and join this thread so we can better coordinate our BIG Games this 08 season.

If your on a team or intrested in starting a team I think this can be a good place to look for one in your area. There is nothing better than playing some outstanding paintball than with outstanding players.

I check this thread often, so dont think your comments will go unoticed.

Also, I think a newsletter for all our united games will help spark steady intrest in group play. Lets make our mark VA in 08 boys!

i live in virginia beach and the team im on is out of jacksonville florida. we play lots of scenario's and the sppl. we placed fourth in the sppl finals last year. i dont get to practice much with the rest of the team so i would like to meet up with teams in va to play with or just practice with. there are 2 of us from our team that live up here. if you know of any big games around please let me know.

Thanks for jumping on board. This is exactly what i think we should do. Our first big game is going to be in April. 1300 player event. $150 bx. for pre-reg and paint. I'm holding out on info to surprise my team.

Regardless, I think it will be a great time to rep our state.

I live in Central VA.. just getting back into the swing of things.. I never really left, but just haven't had time to play the past year because of work. As such, I'm not currently on a team but have a large group of guys from my church that I usually get together with. Keep me posted!

Also, there's an AO-Virginia thread with a ton of names and contact info.. you might want to pm those people if you are having an event..

mclaggan, its not actually $150, a little less. The game is not in VA either. Us VA players go up and down the east coast and play the BIG GAMES, the 1,000 player events. Its like woodstock with paintball.

The $150 would cover your gas, balls, pre-registration fee, and your own case of paint with 2000 rounds. Its up to you how much paint you buy, but if you shoot over 2 cases in 1 game, your in the wrong sport. shoot me if im wrong.

93civiccpe the past forums that i joined never really amounted to much, for me that is, when it came to meeting up on the field. I'm sure the guys on them do run well together. But I only had 1 chance to meet up with the guys in my area. sux

Sad thing is players will lock into the forum but not join up on the field. Thats why i created this forum. I really want VA players to show up together and play together and win together!

Myself, I just love the games and love the players.

if you and your boys want to join us n our first big game, wed love to have you. It takes time for us to put teams together, we are all poor college kids, thats why i get head start on things.

games in April so im sure in a month or 2 you will see it on the scenario forum. till then hush hush. it will be near NY state. hope you show intrest.

I am from central VA, Just now getting back into the game after a few year break due to bills and work. It will be early spring before i have all my gear mounted back up...keep in touch...

Because of my teams real life commitments, our volunteer work for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life fundraiser at the NOVA Annandale Campus in April, we will not be able to link up on the field until after April 20. So our first event is EMR Castle Conquest. Its a timing thing.

We have a paintball facebook group started. If intrested in the detail planning of our trips, East Coast Paintball group on facebook is the best place to get info about our occursions.

If any VA solo or group players are not on a team, but want to play Big Game Scenario, Team SGA always has room for more.
