I will be taking at least four canopies and maybe one giant cooler if I still have room after all the paint is loaded. As for food, I dont care on wat happens. I know a few of my buddies will show up through out the day to just watch, they could always get something on the way up.

Will the whole group be a walkon or private group? Private groups have to be booked and paid in advance and depending on the field some sort of deposit also. If anyone goes to that field or knows the management/staff maybe we can get a discount or come to some sort of arrangement.

Is anyone bringing canopies, coolers, seats, etc? The weather up in castaic on april does get warm and the winds tend to kick up every once in a while. Will consumption of mass quantities be done there or will everyone wait and go hit a diner somewhere. This place is fairly close to Magic Mountain and there are many restaurants that can probably allow a big group given ample warning time.
CPP is an uphill field as it's setup for recball. The speedball fields (ussually 2 of the 3 are up) are parking lot level but tend to be very busy and are sometimes booked for team practices. Take this into consideration as I would recommend hydration packs if you guys have any when recballing there, costco was selling 2liter insulated models for 20 bucks.

For those who haven't been there watch out for the blonde chick on the atv, she's a paintball Nazi. If she's not there you dodged a bullet as she can be a bear.

d4m4don3 brings up some good points. I hope you don't mind that I moved it over to this thread. I would rather be in a private group. I'll have an EZ-Up with me and 2 camping chairs. As always, feel free to come and enjoy some shade. I usually bring some food for lunch. I've only played at CPP once but there was a pizza delivery place that came to Warped which is on the same exit but farther up the road. This may be an option. It was really hot when I played there last and I remember drenching my head with there hose but make sure to bring lots of fluids to drink.

everytime i go the speedball field is never booked. wind never happens when i go either. remember guys, NPPL kick off is two weeks before, so im not expecting to many people at the field practicing yet.

We usually tend to play more speedball, at least at the last few, but I'm not sure if it's more convenience or preference. I usually like to play more speed/air ball with a few of the rec fields thrown in. I'm down for whatever though. I really could care less what we play as long as we are having a good time.

It came out of convenience, SC Village's Recball Fields have outstripped their capability to handle the amount of private groups that are being scheduled. Given the fact that a bunch of fiellds nearby closed down they're practically the only game in town asides from their giant paintball affiliates.

I would love to play the scenario/recball fields but it seems impossible to do so on a normal day. I'm looking forward to their upcoming scenario in august that ussually opens up most of the fields.

Hey guys,

I'm putting together a donation to get lasrsktr to this event.

He has spent all of his money on super bling AGD products. Now his car broke down. He would rather not eat or play paintball then sell something. (edit he does have some stuff for sale).

So because he has $3K of car bills piling up i'm taking paint donations for him.

Maybe if everybody kicks in 100 paintballs he will be able to make it.

I will most likely be his taxi because he is car-less.

I have offered him my scuba tank to reduce his air costs.
