Yup!!! I'll be there. And a few of my teammates will be in attendance as well. I think we should have 5 or so there to shoot it out.

And I keep meaning to tell D that his pic needs fixing.... The guy with the pump cocker is out as he's got a shot on the hopper....

I'm still trying to figure out how to get there from SD. Either Fly... from here to Sac is about $180 roundtrip but then what from there?

Or I need to find a ride - can't seem to convince anyone from here in SD to go with me (yet)
Makes it harder since our pump day is gonna be on the 29th - I'm also torn.....

If you can get the flight to land you in Sac sometime the evening of Friday I can stop on the way through and pick ya up... and drop you off back on Sunday, but that would have you missing the pump day down south.

I get through with work on Friday and head north and it's usually late when I get there... like 10PM or and I leave out and am back in Sac on the way south around 5PM on Sunday.

So if you wanted to work that out just let me know.

I'll check into the flights and see whats available. The wife already gave me the green light for this so it would suck to have to pass on it.
I figure if I can make it, that I would be missing pump day anyways. I'll let you know ASAP - the time frames help me out alot on this thanks.

It looks like its a Pump-only event, yet some mention "missing pump day"? am I not reading this right? Is only a certain day reserved for pumps?

Acro this is a PUMP only event. ALL WEEKEND LONG... Demonio is down in San Diego and has a pump day planned there as well that he is looking at missing if he comes north. If he came up to you, then you and he came up together you could carpool it and save some money that way. It'll be hot up there... well you should be used to it... And there is camping available but hotels are normally the 50-80 range.

Let me know if you guys need anything else. Demonio... if you drove up I think it may be cheaper than the flight if you can split it 2 ways. I think 1 person it'd be better to fly... but I think 2 or more you'd save some.

DevilMan - yeah, I agree with that. Flying alone probably more cost effective and driving carpooling 2 or more is a better deal.

acropilot19 - I'm still trying to push a few friends into going. If we can get one or even 2 more the gas really wouldn't be to bad at all. I'm guessing from SD it's roughly an 8 hour drive straight up and maybe 2 to 2 1/2 hours to Ventura I think. Let me know if your really down for this.

Devilman - I'm all set and will be driving up .... not looking forward to the long drive but it's gonna be cheaper somewhat. Thanks for the offer to pick me up I appreciate it. As it turns out, one of the guys coming will be flying in to Sac at 10pm'ish where I will be picking him up. He has to work that friday, so hopefully We'll all be at the field by midnight.

Did you register and pick a side yet? Runner/Sandman......

We weren't sure what to choose so we chose Runners - not sure why, cause I don't feel much like running but I guess since we're mostly over 30

I'm registered but not sided...

We are floaters. My team is usually one of the teams that gets shifted to level the field sometimes. We usually have 5-10 folks there so we sometimes split up as well.

So I just leave it as I'll be there and get a side when I do.

Good to hear you are set up. I'll be going up on Thursday night me thinks and staying over with some friends along the way....

Good to have ya and make sure and find me at some point... Just look for the team with the pool....

Sweeet, I'll have to bring my swim trunks as I'm guessing it's gonna be hot on both Saturday and Sunday.

I'll be the guy with the proteus mask with Devil horns on it. Not sure if my name will be on my back yet LOL still undecided on my attire. But I have 2 weeks to figure that out.

YES bring trunks... the field is on the river and last game we did an afternoon standdown and everyone fell into the water... was nice and refreshing and got everyones heat back in check. Will more than likely do that this game as well.

Just make sure to take the electro's out of your phantom before you dive in...
