AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
kruger does your field have a bps limit or fireing mode limitation?
Last year, there was not one problem with anything from anybody about anything. I look for a similar experience this year. You can play any mode, as long as it does not become a problem, then I will limit it. My field regulars are very responsible with their markers. We all play for the fun of it and sometimes, it is a tactical advantage to be able to keep your opponents head down, while he is being flanked. That works better with higher rates of fire.
BUT, as I stated, as long as it is controlled, and does not become a problem, then it will be allowed. I have no qualms about limiting the modes of fire at anytime, and I do on occasion. I usually tailor that aspect to the group that is playing. I dont see a problem with this group using any mode they want, we are all adults here, and should play like it.
On a side note: The pumpers were not at any kind of disadvantage at all last year. Think about that as you are checking your hopper batteries and rates of fire
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

Sad but true. Most of them did better with their pumps.
Speaking of witch. I would like to suggest banning pumps. It seems to be a huge advantage when playing 3pumps vs 8 emarkers.
OK, I know that I am WAY jumping the gun on this, but....
What, if any, party plans are there for Friday night?
I am trying to decide whether I am going to come up Friday afternoon, get a room (or tent) or whether I am going to make an annual event that some good friends put on.
The dilemma is in that IF I go to the annual event, I will not be up there before noon on Saturday.
I have to admit that I prefer, if the weather is right, to pitch a tent, build a bonfire, and have a get together at the field.
I know that somewhere this was discussed I was just unsure what the thoughts were on it.
