What to Bring: $40 CASH (no cards because it will just get too confusing), Cloths to get dirty, but are still light weight enough for a hot day, gloves, a hat or beannie to cover the head and keep the sweat out of the mask. Who: Right now the numbers are looking to be about 20+. I will be the personal referee for this private group which mean we will only be playing with each other on the fields. This will make it so we have more time on the fields to play and we get more games in. Expect to play about 10+ games before lunch.


* We will be playing from 9am till about 3pm. After 3pm I have to leave to go to a wedding so that will leave you guys without a ref. This means you can either leave for the day or jump on and play with all the walk on players or continue to play speedball with each other. The park closes at 10pm so you can stay as long as you want to play. The price covers the cost of entry, air and the rental gear for the day so you can play with the gear all day.


The price of $40 covers the following: Entry to the park, rental equipment (sorry, no discount if you have your own equipment), free air all day (bring as many tanks as you want and I'll fill them up for free), half a case of paintballs (1000 rounds), pizza and something to drink. If you wish to buy more paintballs then bring another $15 to cover the cost of a full case (2000 rounds). Paintballs can always be purchased later in the day if you find you need more. Please bring cash only and in small bills to help with change. There is an ATM at the park.

Now we are talking. Ok HSP is my home field and I'm sure I can get us some sick deals there. Maybe better then out at SC Village. If I can't get the deals we want with some of the managers then I'll talk directly to Gio the owner. So let me put a few emails and calls in to see what they can swing for us.

I can let everyone know now that we will have to buy field paint. This might not be a bad thing. If we get some good rough numbers for paint then we can get some good senconds or basic HSP paint (which really isn't that bad) for around $35 a case. I'll find out exactly how much.

As for the private group deal I think this would be the best option. What would be even better is if I ref the group. That way you guys can play a lot more then out at SC Village and we can stay out on the fields longer. I can run you guys hard and for a long day of great paintball fun for a great price. So glad we're finally going to HSP.

Just noticed the date again and totally forgot I am filming my room-mate's wedding that Sat. So is that date set in stone? If that works for everyone then I can set it all up and get you guys the best ref. The other option is that the wedding is at 5pm so I will have to be out of there by 3:45 at the latest. So we can get there at 9am when they open and play hard till 3pm then I'll take off and you guys can play with walk on for the rest of the day. We can work it out...

Yeah bro if I'm the ref then I can't play, but thats totally fine with me. I really love reffing and honestly it's the best option to make sure you guys get the best service and play the most. No one else could hook you guys up the way I can. Just save a few bucks for a tip in the end and I'll be happy.

If I play then we could get a ref for our private group, but be honest there aren't any good ones anymore who only do private groups. There is one guy that I'm friends with, but I don't think he would be avalible since they bummped him up to head ref. I'm going to stick with the best option being that I ref the AO group from 9am till 3pm and then you guys can play speedball or walk ons for the rest of the time. They close at 10pm on Sat. so you guys could go all day and into the night if you'd like. Speedball will be open and with the amount of games I can get you guys to play during the morning I'm sure you guys will be close to done by 3pm. Just remember playing out at SC because they would close at 4pm and by then we were already all pretty tired.

As for food we can either order pizza from HSP (it's a lot like Costco pizza so it's not bad and it's pretty large for the price.) Or we can bring food in as long as I'm the ref. The rule is no outside food for private groups so that HSP can make more money on the food, but I don't care and I let groups bring in food from where ever. So if we want to order locally or from Hollywood Sports we can do either. Drinks and water should be brough in to save some money so I can pick some cases of water up for everyone.

Oh and the best part about me being your ref is that we can set up an area that is all yours and has plenty of lockers, tables and trash cans. That will give us a great central area so we don't have to keep going back to our cars for gear. If we want to drop a few extra bucks then I can see if we want to get the VIP room. I'll ask about that as well.

Generally the private games I've attended at hollywood generally tend to peter out around 3-4, If we play hopper ball only for semi and unlimited pump we might get a hole lot of games,
