FPE (Fall Pump Event) near St. Louis MO!

    OCT 25-26!

Sorry the flyers I had at SPE were wrong, my 2008 calendar is NOT correct!

    Anyway, heres the run down.

Looking for outdoor adventure near St. Louis?? Play paintball - book your birthday or bachelor party; team building event, church, youth group or school event!

It will be FPO, Sal and Tore has always let us do BYOP, but I feel it's time to get them some cash for the event. I will work with Tore and get some standard paint (larger bore if possible), and some higher end paint. Price will be reasonable.

Saturday is standard pump day, several groups to play in, (Speedball, Airball Woods, etc).

Saturday night, we will have a players party at the field. I will bring the DJ gear and we can hang out, and swap lies about the days eliminations.
Sunday we will have standard pump open play, AND a Top Gun, old school pistol challenge. Nelspots with pump handles, PGP's (not 2k version), Splatmasters, DSDS Sliders, and GZ 1000. Velocity adjustment mods are the only ones allowed! More to come on this also.

Camping at the field will be allowed!

Total Greif will be selling BBQ dinner plates in the evening for $7.00! Dinner tickets should be pre-payed to get a count of BBQ needed. Pre-registration and dinner ticket pre-pay will be handled by me, Pm for more info! Pre-pay is not required but requested.

    Pm me for pre-registration info

    Hotel info:
    Columbia Hampton Inn
    165 Admiral Trost Drive
    Colimbia, IL. 62236
    Call 618-281-9000 for reservations.

Regular weekend rate is $104 for a double queen room IIRC.
I have nothing good to put here...........

Just a reminder, there WILL be a players party Saturday. Alcohol can be brought, but it CANNOT be drank or opened, until the field closes for business, 5pm or maybe later if there is a private group in attendance. I will make an announcement when we can bust out the liquid courage!

And Total Greif will be making a BBQ dinner for $7 a head, Godfather said something about Pork Steaks!

Soooooo, what a great event huh? Someone remind me to drink more water and have a bottle of water after every 2-3 beers....................Ugh.

Thanks to everyone for showing up. While I didnt get a solid count, I know we had 40-45 people. We had 2 brothers from Jungle Cat Paintball (Miles and Jesse) in the Miliwauke area show up, Have Blue came form the same area as well. Spaceman made the trip and of course Chef Dave was there, although a bit late on Saturday, something about a jackalope attack. A group of players came from Fox paintball in the Chicago area, and a group from mid Illinois also (Cale, Stolz, Lauren and others). Of course the local and semi-local players were there, Total Greif played around and shot the crap out of me, mainly D~. there was a contingent from Wildcat paintball (Delamorte, Bradzerker, Jess, Jeremy and Rachel among others) Shives showed up and stank the joint up with fine cigars and loaned a few pistols for Sundays challenge. We had 3-4 people from PBN show up (num3n, Zepulkinator, and his buddy Tim). Vlar showed up and was selling his chainmaile tank covers, and other cool goodies. And some people from Springfield Mo showed up with the P'huckers team (stockman/Phangs, Duck, Duckson, and K_Obeastly)

Sunday we had a top gun pistol challenge, with splatmasters and a nelspot for loaners (thanks to Shives, Vlar and DarkArmor). We had a double elimination bracket, and it was fun as heck to watch. 22 players signed up, including 3 of the ladies playing also! Highlight of the game was when the 2 brothers from JCP had to go against each other. They started the game, both ran to the show tape, layed down in the prone shooting position, counted 1, 2, 3, and started shooting at each other, with splatties! Took a good 30 seconds for a hit! they did Rambo rolls, and crawls, coolest moves of the weekend. D~ didnt want to enter as his statement was he couldnt shoot a pistol, well I signed him up and goaded him into it. Well he won, and traded for a splatmaster right afterwards....yea, he gets it now! Stockman/Phangs made it all the way through the losers bracket to play for first, he didnt make it, but it was an intense game nonetheless.

Thanks to everyone for attending, it made me smile when everyone had soooo much fun. Looking forward to SPE now!

I know he will deny deserving the credit, but hats off to Shane. The company was great. The food was plentifull and yummy. The weather couldn't have been much better (not giving Shane credit for that, he ain't that good). I could have done to shoot better, but I can't give Shane the blame for that (unless staying up late BSing contributed).

Yes, I can't wait for SPE, but I now have next Fall to look forward to as well.
