    Anyone here from Tampa?

    Hi all,

I recently moved to Tampa, FL. I just wanted to touch base with you guys here, and see if any AOers nearby. Unfortunately, I'm going to university so I couldn't bring my markers, and probably won't have time to play. Regardless, I wanted to check out the scene. Thanks.

Just a bit east of Tampa in Valrico.
If you're too busy for paintball, you're just too busy !
You should play pump if you cant afford the paint.
At least every other month anyways.

I'm going to UT. I typically play with my phantom. I'll definitely try to play once I can find a way to get my markers over here. What fields do you all like to go to?

There are probably 10 or more fields in the area within a couple hours.
But the one that the paintball forums seem to be meeting at the most lately is Central Florida Paintball. The woods field is shaded so thats a big plus in the summer.

we have fairly regular pump meets and a 4 event per year 3 man pump only tourney as well.

also, a 2 man 10 round tournament, all at central florida paintball.

Well the 3 closest to me are Orbital, Kohns, and Central Florida paintball.
I've been going to CFP mostly lately. Havent been to Orbital in probably close
to 2 years, but then I've been playing mostly pump and the pump guys seem to like CFP best in the area.
The guy in charge of the woods is a pump guy himself.
Kohns field is in Ruskin area a bit south of Tampa.
Its a first rate field, I gotta get by there and play again, its been a long time since I played there too.
