Camp Pendleton Speedball

I will be at the Camp Pendleton, Speedball course tomorrow for most of the day. I will be wearing my Paintball Junkies Jersey. Hope to see some of you out there. Just come up and say hi!!!!!!!

So the fields are awsome I'm here now and it is cool. They will be playing to at least five. I'm in a brown dye t shirt and I have my three year old with me. I'm mostly by the field on the left as you enter the course. Hope to see you all there.

Now the pictures are not great cause they came from my cell phone. There were 3 working fields and one not finished. It just needed bunkers and it would be set. There were a ok amount of vendors. IT WAS HOT 92 at its highest. I had to leave to take my son home cause even with SPF 345654433 he still burnt. So here it goes. Also it is going on again today. 8am to 5pm, but they said they were closing at 5 yesterday but at 630pm when i left base i could still see people playing. Also the last picture is the team area where they were relaxing. The parking lot was about 200yds from the fields. Also you have to go through the rodeo grounds to get there so watch out for hourse droppings and horses.

Where are these located compared to where the rec grounds are? Where these up when AO went a couple weeks back?

These opened yesterday and they are about 4 iles from the other paintball course. This is located right next to the San Luis Rey Gate on Camp Pendleton. It acually is right in the rodeo grounds for the base if you remember from back in the day the rodeos they used to have here. The fields are nice and set up well and from what i could see the ref's are about as middle of the road as anyone could ask for. Not that these will be the same ref's for rec ball. I do not know if this will be another park seperat from the other field or just one you have to travel to after singing up at the other course. It hopefully will operate as a seperate field.

Man, you think they could hang some shade cloth over the field. Was there water readily available? How about bathroom and air/paint refill proximity?

Air and paint refil was at the end of Eclipse field which was the one closest to the overall entrance from teh P-lot. The bathrooms were, well i dont know i never saw them, but i would assume they are there if they can put porta pottys in the middle of nowhere on this base they can put them down there. And it was kinda like bring your own pop up cover but i have some cammie netting for the nest AO SoCal day. Just gotta find something to put it up with. Or hang it on.
