Ressurecting TX AO meets

Heyo,

I've been away for a while and I miss the TexBall. So, that said, I know there are more of us here than let on. If you're here in the great nation of Texas and are interested in getting together for a day of shooting people, post up!

I'm willing to organize.

Right now I"m just gaguing interest, and don't have any plans on where/when yet.

So, if you'd like to go to a TexBall, post whereabouts you live and how far you'd be willing to go to play, and what style of play you'd prefer (speedball, woods, rec mix)

I'm based out of the Houston area, and I can think of a few places here we could play, but I'm open to other venues.

Me too. I thought about going to AO south, but I couldn't find anyone to carpool with, then I realized that I'm going to be tapped for vacation this year already anyway, sooo...

As for traveling, I know they had one in Plano years back that I went to.

Haven't picked a location yet, still need to see who all is interested and where they're located.

we have a group could be very interested, while we are centrally located we are willing to drive some.. to date the furthest we have been out is around a 12 hr drive.. so of texas could be do-able for us.

Time, scheduling etc withstanding... so to start there is interest.

I figure we need to get about 20 people interested before this becomes worth planning. Inevitably some folks can't make it, and some folks have friends to bring with, but that seems to be the break point that most fields will start giving discounts/group rates.

Well, unless we want to play woodsball near Conroe, then the magic number is 10.

type of game: would love to do another "tex-ball", but speedball mostly, but i am open for anything, just want to play with the AO crowd again.

Might do a mini get together in the first half of October up at Twisted again. My cousin wants to go. So if we get a group of 10+ we can do a private game. They're mixed woods / speedball/hyperball. No airball for this trip.

Probably be the 3rd weekend of October, but that's no where near firm yet. I need to coordinate some things on my end again.
