    Holla from Huntsville, AL

    Hey guys,
I've been lurkin around the forums the past few days and finally set up an account. I'll be honest, I do not own a mag, but I am hoping to change that. I fell out of the game when I went off to college and my parents moved up north. My newest marker is a 2001 Spyder Shutter. Figured I might as well get that off my chest before you heard it from someone else. I upgraded with a "state of the art" Mako Storm trigger frame, but I should have just sold the darn thing while is was still worth > $50 and bought an E-mag. Oh well, at least the armson barrel was a good investment. My other marker is a stock Trracer with a Chameleon Semi Auto kit. I took the kit off and stuck it back in the box when I got the Spyder. I have a small museum of stuff in my closet.

Anyway, I have just moved to Huntsville, and wondered if there were any active maggers in the area. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Bear Claw up in Fayetteville, TN but I just missed Pork Chop Hill. Yall give me a shout if there's anywhere else nearby that would be good weekend play. I'd like to scare some kids with the Trracer.

    Take care,
    CDub

Hello and welcome to the forums. And, BearClaw is indeed every bit as good as you heard. l own a field here in Rome, GA, about two hours East of you. At my field, we have two events commin up real quick. There is an eight hour game called Flag wars, its a real crowd pleaser, and, on th seventh of November, AO South will be held. You can meet a bunch of the forum users at that game. Having a Mag is not a requirement for the game. But honest paintball IS a requirement. But, if you make it, then I promise you that you will not find a better bunch of guys to play with. And, you will be able to see some of the most incredible markers that were ever made.

Here is the thread on the AO South game:

And, here is the web addy for my field.

    SPG Paintball
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

Liberty Paintball over past Decatur has a few good players hanging out there. There is at least one field up on 72 close to Athens (Phoenix Paintball)

And of course, theres always Mt Doom. My home field down in Hanceville. Southern tip of Cullman County.

If you're ever down here, let me know. Doug has walk on days every 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month. And a pump/pistol day every fifth sunday.
