Looks like April 10/11 is out for me... The Hellions have a game scheduled for April 10-11 - "Panzer Attack" - Bailey's Battlefield in Missouri ....

The following week-end (17-18) is also out due to me working at Range Control... So looks like I won't be making the spring meet ....

any campgrounds you could recommend in the area so that the wife and i could make the journey up the night before and then not have far to go afterwards. It's not that far from Conyers but it would still be a haul and it would be way too early on a saturday. It also gives me an excuse to use some of my vacation time.

I don't know if anyone has actually taken Kruger up on it, but he has offered to have the field opened and camp out there. There is no running water on site, but has some good flat spots to pitch a tent.

If you look back at some of the past AO South threads there are links to hotels/motels in the area, but as far as an actual campground I can't help.

by the powers of google maps and the spgpaintball.com website. I present to you a campground 3.8 miles from the field.

And, I was gonna tell you that there was a campground at the Lock and Dam. But, you beat me to the punch. There are showers there as well, or so I am told. I think that the rate is ten bucks a day.

for a site with power, and water on the river is $22.00 a night. Now once I have a finalized date. I can reserve a site for Friday and Saturday of that weekend and I will be set for the .5 game.

My wife, myself, and a co-worker are waiting only for the date to be set.
