UPDATE 2/3/10: Tomorrow I will be purchasing 10 cases of RPS Premium for $15 /case. It is about a year old, but I've looked at it and it seems to have been turned regularly, minimal dimpling, and it still breaks decent. The fill is VERY thick.

I will offer this on a first come first served basis.

Ok, the old thread is starting to get cluttered, so lets move planning for the Spring/late winter (eh it's Tx who are we kidding?) meet up here.

Please vote for which weekend would be the best weekend for you to come. Please only vote if you're actually willing to travel to come.

Currently I'm still favoring Twisted Texas as the venue as they've been very friendly with the small groups I've taken in the past.

Short version is: $15 Field fee and all day air (3k fills)
Field paint is $50 a case for Spectrum or $10 for BYOP.

Please include in your post how many people you have FOR SURE, and how many you have as maybe's.

Need 10 minimum to make this work. Should be easy enough to do.

Twisted is whats posted. I hate to sound like a broken record but maybe we should check out Tactical Paintball. Its my home field and is honestly the best field Ive ever played at. The people and the field are both outstanding. Oh and Marbs are the new field paint!


And im available for all of those weekends.

I don't mind, but I think Tactical is further from me, and I've had no experience with them. How do they handle small / private groups?

I'll admit that Tactical is an easier choice for those from San Antonio or Austin, Twisted is a good location for Bryan/College station and it's closer to DFW.

Yeah its kind of a drive (Im in Houston) but its well worth it in my opinion. Im normally only out there for work days and scenarios but I can assure you that even if its just out group out there we will have a ton of fun. The field puts anything in and around Houston to shame. (Tanks, Survival Games, Zone North, etc). Plus I know most of the people who work up there and they are all great guys/gals. The owner is a ex-Ranger and current Constable in Harwood and only employs good people.

Hey Frank, Conroe is duable for me. The 13th is best but the 27th might be ok also. I would have 4 to 6 guys including myself. Two of my guys work for the Fire Dept. and their schedules are pretty set but they are both off on the 13th.

Dude, if I were back home, I would be there! I grew up in Magnolia, and that place is still my home of record. I haven't played at Twisted since the 2002-2003 HRL season. It was a great place then, and I'm sure it's even better now. Wish I could be there...

i voted the 13th, and twisted was fun, wish my marker didnt keep going down each time we went to the hyper ball field hehe, i would like to play there again.

tactical is cool and i also know jon, its just a long drive, but it is a saturday so i will plan on camping if we go there.

I've been given official permission from the 'boss' to offer up floor space to those travelling from out of town.

That said, I'm still 1.5 hours from the field.

This time out I'm sticking with Twisted. I'm open to trying other fields, but I've just got too much other stuff going on to feel out a new field right now.

Someone over on MCB is selling JT paint for $8 a case, minimum order of 20 cases.

I presume there is additional shipping costs.
