Well there's not as many people as I'd have liked committed to going. Lets shoot for the 13th, and use the 27th as a backup day for weather purposes.

If we don't get 10 people to show up there when we get things rolling we'll just have to play with the walk ons..

If we are going to use that paint ill gladly take 4-5 cases at that price. When do we have to give you the money by?

I'm still planning on the 13th of February as our primary date. I haven't actually set up anything with the field yet, but I only need to give them about a week's notice.

I think I've PM'ed you all, but I wanted to verify that everybody who I thought could make it, still actually can.

Query: would it cause people much grief to change the date to the 27th? Some stuff of mine keeps getting pushed back, and I know there were a handful that couldn't make it due to Valentines.

i was ok with any date....this would actually be good for me, my fiance' just had to get surgery ( wisdom tooth ) and that is costing an arm and a leg, so money is kinda tight right now anyways....

Ok, the JT paint order isn't going to happen. Partly because I've taken too long in getting all the details, part because there are too many questions about exactly what type of JT paint it is and if it'll be allowed on field, and partly because it didn't look like we were going to make the minimum order.

That said, I am checking tonight, I may be able to score 10 cases of some old RPS premium locally. If the quality is reasonable, I will purchase it and sell it back to ya'll at my cost, which I expect to be $15 / case. First come first served.

Ok, short version: I screwed up and didn't get us checked in with the field early enough to get us a private ref. (BAD VEEF BAD). Every other time I've been able to give a week or two's notice and not have any problems, I forget that spring is the kickin season round here.

So the way I see it we have the following options:

1) Play with the walk on's there
2) Play somewhere else (details below)
3) Move the date (which I don't want to do cause many can't make it in Feb then).

Playing somewhere else:
I've only looked at fields on the North side of town given that we've got folks coming in from DFW and the Waco area (so, sorry, not Tactical).

Options for private games are:
PB Zone, North location, I've heard mixed reviews about the quality of the field, but it's the best 'deal' with $20 Field fee, and BYOP, and a private group all day

Survival Games Of Texas, Billed as the oldest field in Houston, I have a friend that plays here and loves it. Price is $15 field fee with BOYP, but they charge for air. I forget the exact prices, but it is graduated between CO2, 3k, and 4.5k

Then the last alternative would be play as walk on's at TxR. This is probably the biggest field in the area, and I've heard good things about it, especially since the new management took over. Prices would be: $20 for field fee, all day air and BYOP. This location may be a little more of a haul for you guys out east of Houston.

So. I need some input, what do people want? I also need feedback (posted here preferably) quickly, so I can make arrangements. I've not played at any of these fields, but I plan on visiting Survival games on Saturday, and I'll try and swing by PBZone while I"m at it. I've visited TxR and I want to play there eventually, but they really don't seem group friendly.

Zone North is pretty nice. Ive played a few scenarios here and one team practice. I think if we go here we will be happy.

SGoT has pissed off me and my team (before I joined) but I would not mind playing here again.

TXR used to be called Paintball USA. Thats where all my friends played before I got into the sport and they loved it. I havnt played here myself though.



If we had a vote Zone North would be my pick but the others are (or at least seem) nice as well. Also Vf my team leader will probably come out and play with us. Ill see if another team mate will let him borrow his E-mag so Duhon wont feel so left out
