I noticed that we didn't post a start time for the game, so I am assuming we will get rolling around 10-11 like usual?

If so why don't we meet at the Waffle House say 8:30, eat, and then head out to the field?
Any others that want to eat elsewhere, please feel free as both locations are near the field and of course seating being what it is at WH...

Was there any resolution on the snack truck or whatnot?

There will be food at the field. Now, what it is, I am not sure, one of my partners was taking care of this. Been brutal at the real job here the last coupla weeks so havent had the opportunity to take a more personal hand in things.

We are going to leave out of here around 7 in the morning. GPS says it will be a 2 hour trip to the WH, so we should be there around 9. See you there, and if not, we will be at the field a bit after.

I would like to thank SPG in Rome, Kruger, Code 3, as well as the field regulars for making the event today terrific. The venue, and regular players there speak for themselves, and any excuse to play there is a good one.

I regret deeply the lack of support shown this game by members of the product forum for which this event pays homage. I can understand there may or may not have been legitimate circumstances for a few folks not to come, but put simply...for the interest shown in this event, as opposed to the number of people who actually showed up related to this forum, was quite disappointing. There was a lot of footwork and planning that went into making this event happen. A lot of inquiries made, and more than just my time.

              That is a bummer...

Was there snow up there too? I'm sure that was the real reason for the turnout. No one shows up with sub 50* temps.

Hopefully there will be another opportunity later to meet the AO South crew.
              Stay Classy, AO...

It actually was a good day of play. Granted, the turnout was not exactly what I expected, but still a good day of play. I want to thank all the people that actually did show up, I enjoyed playing with all of you. Hope that you had a safe trip home, and maybe next year we can see you again.
