Okay folks, so according to the weather network, there is a CHANCE of thunderstorms tomorrow
If it is pouring, what do we want to do? I am flexible.
Options are:
-Cameron's Indoor in Stoney Creek. (Fruitland road and QEW Niagara)
-Flag Raiders in Kitchener; http://www.flagraiders.com/
-Infinite in Etobicoke; http://www.infinitepaintball.ca/
-Sniper Alley in St. Catherines; http://www.sniperalley.ca/
Hopefully the weather holds up and we can just stick to Soldiers of Fortune, I love that field lol
So, IF it does rain, any votes?Comment

Okay so the weather forecast has changed from T-storms to variable clouds!
See you all at SOF tomorrow!!!
As Kev said, won't kill us!
It is supposed to be bloody hot tomorrow, so bring water and what have you, they sell it there for cheap, but it never hurts to come prepared. May I also suggest Reactine LOL! You'll need it if you have seasonal allergies like I do.
39 degrees C tomorrow (That's 102*F for our neighbors to the south, no, we don't live in igloos haha)Last edited by OneSelfLost; 07-01-2011, 04:36 PM.Comment

It was a fun day for me and my (step)grandson. Not as many Maggers as I had hoped, but those that came out had a blast. A perfect day for weather though hotter than h*ll and humid with paint swelling by the hour. No problem shooting it though so long as we kept upping the control bore size.Originally posted by my automagSoooooo.....How was it, who went, how many played, everything turn out good?

Thanks to Kevdupuis for having a twist-lock Freak back he was willing to part with for cheap. That allowed me to get the old Classic out when I wanted to start conserving paint and use my existing barrel kit. I actually did better with that gun than with the RT....go figure. Still want to get an X-valve for it though at some point. Also grateful for the chance to finally see and handle an X-mag. Gorgeous!
They have some nice fields there at SOF. Didn't get to try them all so I'll definitely have to go back for a deeper sample. Anyone who is thinking of playing there shouldn't hesitate. They even had prize giveaways with some pretty groovy stuff.
I would say around 40-ish people on the field at the high point. Lots of them curious about those old-school Mags and some seemed VERY surprised by what these old "relics" can do. I didn't get any photos, sorry. Camera was dead. Maybe the others did....?
Thanks to OneSelfLost for setting this up. We should do it again before the season is out.Comment

This definitely makes me want to go out there and give it a pop, good to hear it was fun.
So after all, what was the owner of the place shooting for this event, a... MAG???
I like the idea of doing more MAG events around here, it would give me and maybe others another chance to try to go this time.
Should be made into a tradition to do this every year at least once here in Canada.
