I'm living in the panhandle. About 20 minutes east of Pensacola

Im driving down with Cougars20th for sure from NH.

- We leave Friday at 6am from his home in Amherst NH

- We start our return on Sunday after 12 noon from the field in NJ

I live in Pembroke NH

We "talked" about grabbing Twilight and SSP as well if they are attending.

There was also "talk" of renting a van if we had more than 2 of us going this year.

If we increase the travel load,.. we will get a larger vehicle.

Although it may be safer for the trees, it may not be safer for the passengers. Last year Jai took the exit that was across from the State police barracks at near 80 instead of the 30 or so it was posted for.

That things got a roof rack right, we just tie Twilight & SSP up there for the ride.

I got a hookup on a nice Thule roof compartment for this year. Most of my gear will be on the roof.

I'll be getting out of work at 4:00 pm on Friday and heading right to BigEvil's for some socializing. I will also be leaving the field on Sunday after the last game if not a bit before. So far it looks like myself and ShieK will be riding together.

I want to bump this thread because we are getting close..

There are going to be a bunch of people coming in from out of town for TB7. If you are driving in, please consider taking on one or two people to drive around if possible. The economy sucks, and if we can help our friends save a few bucks by not having to rent a car that could be the difference for people coming or not.

Please post up here if you would be willing to play chauffeur for the weekend.

Also keep in mind, the driving distances are not that far. Topgun to the cabins is 2 miles. Topgun to the hotels (if needed) is 1/2 hr.

Gas in NJ is $3.57/gal

This would be very helpful, since it seems like nobody from my area is going. Flying would be less expensive for me without a rental car. I'd be happy to pay for fuel if you can drive me around all weekend.

Or if anyone else is flying in, I'd be happy to coordinate my flights with you and split the rental car and fuel costs with you.
