My wife is flying back out to Texas Monday. Easy Peazy

I have flown once, with my step brother in one of those Buddy Holly killin planes. I’m not so much afraid ( I can’t be because my wife wants to go to Scotland some day). It’s more the fear of losing my luggage and or Mags that I could never replace, and just the general hassle. I guess I have watched “Meet The Parents “ one to many times . But mostly it’s about doing things with my family, we do everything together. We usually make a vacation out of it.

i have flown both times i was able to go, unfortunately this year will not be a third but the last time i shipped all my gear to the field UPS. It did not cost much more than taking it as extra baggage and everything made the trip just fine although slowly.

You could ship them as vintage suggests. I have flown there many many time (lost count) and I try to get a nonstop flight so that my bag should be on the same plane with me....I also done take anything that is irreplaceable. The time I took my SFL I disassembled it and took the body and valve in my carry on.

Texas is definitely a neutral location. I can only hope this continues after Scott makes his triumphant move to the Lone Star state!!!
