If anyone has an EZ-Up or tent style canopy, by all means bring it as there is no shade in the parking lot. I'll be bringing mine, but we'll more than likely need more than one.

Yeah, the hummer is cool (it's one of the new H2s). However, the motorhome is nicer for "long" trips. But the hummer is much cooler... I still have to get him to go. He's not going to let me borrow the hummer...Originally posted by Curly

Ok, managed to talk the wife out of the stupidity, so I'm set for the 19th.
I suggest a change of venue, take a look at www.jailhousepaintball.com. They hold this at the old Provost jail on Fort Ord, it is total chaos! I checked the availability last night, the 19th is open for walk ons. You can bring your own scuba as long as you keep it in your car. The only down side is that you need to buy their paint, no outside paint allowed, they're trying really hard to keep the place looking clean.

The only drawback to playing there is the floor gets slick as ice inside. I played there when they first opened and it was fun until I slipped and fell and nearly broke my elbow on the concrete floor moving from bunker to bunker.

We are trying to keep this 1st attempt as simple as possible to see what kind of turn out we get. We went with the fairgrounds, as its a fairly new field, is centrally located, and extremely easy to get to.
Next time we can see if everyone wants to try different fields.
