I haven't played there yet, but it is the closest place for me to go, and if all my boxes arrive I will have three guns to tune and test before I sell two next week.

And being indoor, the AC and no rain problems means I shouldn't have trouble!

I plan on being at Gladiator this Saturday (8/27). I received all my auctions in so I have three guns to setup and test out. As long as the family doesn't trump me I will be there.

For the sake of my sanity, let's say I didn't go on Saturday. I physically arrived at Gladiator, and I even paid to play. But I never got past the Chrono...

None of the three guns I took had a barrel that would let that fat, crappy, Charge paint though it. That along with various gun issues (not the least of which a stuck RT bolt that took 20 minutes to dislodge) I never got onthe field.

I went home and wept for hours. A trip to my buddies place this week and an incoming Lvl10 kit should hopefully salvage my RT and I'll be playing next weekend. I will post if I am.

When I said 'paint wouldn't go' I mean literraly couldn't get out of the barrel... stuck 7-10 balls inside teh barrel every time i tried... WAY to big of caliber...

haven't played pump yet, but wanted to try one day.

come to orbital for the pump meet if you want to give pump a shot. good times. a few other ao'ers go as well. Fred, RRfireblade and maybe a few others. always fun. we get to do our own thing, self ref. play all games pump only players.

AO'ers!!! I have my level 10 installed and need some help tuning it. If you are willing and able I will pay your entry ($20 all day air) to meet me at Gladiator tomorow (Sunday 9/11) and help me get this thing tuned.

for starters, try this: no shims, medium spring, either 1.0 or 1.5 carrier. put a little oil on the tip of the stem of the bolt that goes into the power tube before inserting it.

after a days play, you may need to change the carrier size.

Is this something that will need to settle in? Cause I've done all that and I've worked my way down to the smallest carrier and no shims but still get barrel leak and usually after a little play a good sized back leak as well with velocity in the 260-270 range.

yes, lvl 10's need some break in time. usually no more than a good day or two of play.

another thing you can try is to remove the power tube tip and run some oil around the top of the carrier where it meets the sides of the power tube.

also, try a new power tube o-ring (the one that goes into the carrier) if you havn't already.

as far as i'm aware, back leak is not associated w/ lvl 10. have you changed the reg piston 0-ring lately or re-lubed the reg piston?
