i'm going to be at the cup at about 10:30 or so to tour the trade show and hork some freebies first, then up to the all start cafe for lunch around noon.

Definitly in here too for some AO ball. Sunday was my first time to see ANY paintball tourney so it was definitly cool. Was really hopeing to find an AGD shirt of some kind for my wife and I but had no luck. Hope to meet some of you all soon!

I'll be at 'cup again sat. pickin' up the empire hermossa shoes and maybe some other crap. If anyone could provide a large enough TV and electrical outlets I'd bring my Xbox only 3 working controllers though. Halo and a few other shooters would be awesome at cup. Plus I think I'll be heading from cup to a friends house for a system link game.

it was a nice day at cup today there were some cool poeple there and poor tato didn't go too long with out a gun in his hands. jon was making magic happen hes the man i can't wait to play tomorrow with my new x-valve and ULE its gonna be a good day in the woods

college x ball was a blast. ezrunner from here on forums was reffing with me.....got his autograph too (inside joke). he had me belly laughing more times than i can remember.

another one of the refs was one of the kids from the view loader all stars that got cut this weekend for playing with another team and wearing non-contract gear. he was an ok ref, could have worked harder though.
momma lisa's (from empress) hubby roger and son chris reffed as well. both excellent people and very very good refs. roger's older then me and was out there sliding around like he was playing and chris is 14 and was teaaching me the fundamentals of xball.
the head ref was absolutetly cool. knowledgeable, consistent, and very concerned with providing a quality experience for everyone involved on both sides of the 50 and the refs as well.

illinois won it all after upsetting purdue in the semi's. we played the finals on the psp field just prior to the infamous/russion legion game.

i have to say that the group of refs i worked with were the best i have ever had the pleasure to be on a field with. no one acted like players, good calls were made consitently and everyone worked together as the third team on the field and the variety and amount of experience on the reffing staff rivaled and possibly surpassed most of the psp fields.

props as well to the college players. this is pretty close to the way ball should be played. very little hassel, almost no questionable play, respect for the rules, other teams, themselves and the officials. reahl puts on a good tourney and is a good guy who does a lot of hard work. these college kids get nothing but a trphy and pride. no cash, no sponsorships and very little assistance of any kind from any outside agency or program. they do this all themselves and deserve our respect and support. so support your local college ballers please!

i didn't want to leave. i had alot of fun listening to jon and tato banter back and forth. they're hilarious. and to just watch, listen and learn from them was a treat and a priveledge. i hope they come back next year or attend the orlando open. that would be awesome.

to all the florida peeps i didn't get to meet...next time we need to do a serious hook up. there is way too much fun to be had with this group of people. we need to get in the stands and watch some games together!
