Bay Area AO Day 2

For those who have voted in the poll Zaust posted, can you post either here or there to say you have voted.

The poll is a good idea but since its open to anyone, its quite possible that the numbers will be skewed by random people voting who have no intention of playing.

When I looked there were 9 votes, and only 2 posters in the thread. I'm guessing those 2 posters count as 2 of the votes. Who are the others?

I have not voted as I don't really have a preference. I can make any Sat. and possibly any Sun. with enough notice.

From Zaust's poll, the most popular date so far is the 20th of July. I say we select said date and stick with it. Location was to be SCP again per earlier posts.

All those in favor say "Aye"...silence means I win so I'll expect to see some replies to this.

I voted on the 20th, but I changed my mind afterwards because I prefer not to play on Sundays. Old guys like myself need that extra day to recoup.

Anyway, if everyone wants Sunday then so be it.

Hey, got a question about scp. In the post for the first AO day, you guys said that personal scuba tanks are ok as long as they are in your car in the parking lot. I have been reading in some other boards that they don't allow any scuba tanks at all and that you can be kicked off the field if they catch you. So, whats the word on the tanks?

Im up for July 20th(sunday) or 19th(saturday)--whatever the majority chooses. Ok as far as the venues for play gonna be, which one? I figure let the poll on what day to play run for about 2 weeks BEFORE game day? Then we'll do a poll for the field to rock on. I guessing its between SCP and WAP? ive never been to either one, in any case im gonna try to bring some non AO er friends with me. I think it would be pretty cool to if we could do some tailgate action and bust out some BBQ, if the fields allow it.

BTW I was wondering if yall are up for an after-game brew action at a pub or something. If not maybe some dinner at decent place or both. Any yall know any cool bars or hangout joints near the field were gonna attend?

Ive been to their wedbsite, they sell pant, but they dont mention Field Paint Only. SO whats the deal can we byop?

well git and i had a fun mini ao day. we ended up going to sherwood cause we were too lazy to drive to scp and chris from sfpaintballcenter was going and he was gonna lend me a gun.

we got there and took over the airball field with chris, jay (works at sfpc), some kapp factory guys (duffy, err cant remember the other guys name), some other good guys. we basically just shut the field off the the public and played a bunch of great games.........really fun cept i was really sick and had zero energy. i would want to run to the 30 or 40 but by the time i got the the 20 dog house it was hard to breath :/
