Great Lakes AO Day? anyone interested?

Hey... I'm thinking about putting together an AO day at a field in SE Michigan, mid to late summer prob'ly... can I get an idea of how many would be interested in coming? I'd like to speak with some field owners, show them what I've got to offer, and see what we can work out.

Please get this thing rolling, so I can get my legwork started... I promise good times to be had by all, and I'll do all the planning, leaving the fun to the rest of y'all! --Dave

will do, people... I'm really excited. I'm gonna go talk to the field owners this week about it. I've been trying to make pretty good friends with them (not just to suck up for this, but because I genuinely like them), and hopefully everything will work out.

DevNull: bro, thanks a BUNCH for the offer, and I will keep you in mind if the first choice falls through, but there's an AGD dealer out in SE Michigan who has a really nice field for a day like what I'm planning... I'm really mostly concerned about the distance people will be willing to drive, and I'd like to get as big of a crowd as possible, including some Ohioans (is that it?), and some Canadians (I don't think C_Mayhem will want to drive an extra 3 hours to Gun Lake AFTER driving the 5 from Toronto)

hey why dont you guys plan this later on. the nj meet is in mid-late summer. then you have the sc meet a couple months later. maybe you guys should plan this to be later so that some of the jersey boys can come up to this.

also this way you can hype it up to have a really big ao day.
