When is the latest you can reserve?

What is the drop dead date for SCV to have a deposit for a private game? I'm trying to get our numbers up but I won't know for sure until tomorrow if it's going to happen.

I take it I can stop off at a local shop and buy paint and bring it with me? I've only played once at SC and I ended up buying field paint. Also Schnitzel could I give your emag a whirl? I'm trying to decide if I wanna put that kinda money up for one. Also USAF still wanna try out the warp? LMK so I make sure to bring it along.

Ya, there's a few places you can buy paint. C&C on Frontage, good if your coming in from OC. Gramps on 2nd and River, usually a good selection, but they can be jerks. PPC off Serfas club is another. I think their paint selection is only so so. Prolly go with Gramps since it's so close.

I just checked SC's website and they dont list a deadline for private groups, I also tryed to call them but dident get an anwser or even a message machine. I think though that they would need atleast 1 week notice, we may need to just try our luck and if we have enough people convince them to let us play as a simi-private group

Yes I tried to call the number on the site and its disconnected. If you are heading out there you can go to Checkit Paintball off the 10 and South vincent ave:

They've got a bunch of different paint.. pmi premium is 50 there.. they've got some diablo blaze/inferno as well plus pmi big ball 40 bux a case.

Hey guys,
I just talked to a buddy of mine that plays at SC regularly. He said that the walk-ons don't play the tourney fields at all. He said that if we want to play the tourney fields we pay 10 bucks and are restricted to the tourney fields for the day. He also said in doing this, it's best to set up teams because generally teams are there practicing. It's easier to get playing time on the fields if we have teams set up.

Are we just going to to walkon at the rec fields?

If you only pay the $10 then you are limited to only the tourny fields but if you pay for "Walk-on" then you can go to the tourny field iny time you want, they just dont include them in the walk-on rotation. I personaly plan to do the Tourny feilds all day as I seem to endup ther after the lunch break even when I do pay full price. But for people that do want the walk-on fields they can switch between the walk-on group and tourny fields all day if they want

Nobody...ok kewls..thanks for the clear up! I don't mind playing rec fields, but I wouldn't want to play them all day. Gotta satisfy my itching for speedball =)

No-Prob, The main reason I like the speedball more as SC is all the cheaters on the walkon fields, the speed ball fields are self reffed so most people cheat less. If we have enough people and they do let us have a private group then Ill play the walk-ons with you guys.

The cut-off is one week before to have your deposit paid. They usually have a waiting list for private groups.

I know I posted that I will be going for sure plus 1 (my brother) but we will have to bow out. Unfortunately my dad is undergoing bypass surgery for his heart on Friday. Sorry guys family has to come first. Have fun. I'll see you out there next time around.

Everyone else: What is the plan? After all we play THIS saturday. My girl isn't totally comfortable playing speedball due to the fact she fears being bunkered. So likes to hide and what not. I'm down for either but if we do just speedball I'll probably be by myself.

Yes, I don't like speedball at all. I have ALOT more fun in rec games running around walls/buildings/trees. I'm sure there will be plenty of people to get a rec game going at least, plus I'm bringing some friends I hope that will be their first time playing sorta so speedball wouldn't be for them.

I really wish you guys would keep in mind that some of us "WORK" on Saturdays.

Someone please get hold of that dumb bunny and tell him to stop by the shop. I have couple of raffel prizes for the meet.

If you guys would plan these things for Sundays, I would not only be able to attend, I could bring even goodies with me.
