Live in or around New York? Then plan for this date

Upstate New York Pump-Day. An Official Paintball Marshals event.

    Place: Ithaca, NY www.IthacaPaintball.com "IPB"
Date: Saturday, July 19th (I know, they forgot to list it on the website, I'm working on that)
    Time: 11AM - 3PM

It'll be a mixture of speedball as well as some woodsball. I talked to these guys and they were more than willing to let me organize a Pump-day at their field.
And by speedball I don't mean pallets. Actually sup'air fields, and hopefully by then we could have the Hyperball field up. If not, just sup'air.

If you guys find some time to come, that'd be great. If not, oh well. This isn't going to be for money or anything, it's just a day to hang out, have some fun, and play some pump games.

Field Paint will be RPS Big Ball, Marbz, Allstar, and Evil. From 65 a case to 85 a case. But they sell by the bag as well (like we'll end up using a full case!).

Field fee = 5 bucks if you bring your own marker. If you want to use a tank (instead of 12-grams), you can get all day air or CO2 for 5-dollars.

I'm hoping I can see a couple AOers attending, I haven't seen pump mags in some time. Or if not mags, at least just bring some kind of pump. Because sure we love to talk about Emags and Xmags with the 26bps and no shootdown, fastest marker in the world proven. But for this event you aren't looking to achieve anything close to that! Maybe take off the 6 and that'd be fine.

So bring your self, your pump, and especially your game.

How long of a drive is this from NYC? I'd sure love to whip out the old SI Bushmaster.

      Distance

Vandetta, I grew up in Trumansburg....10 miles from Ithaca. Depending on where in NYC you are... If you are North of the city it will take you about 4 1/2 to 5 hours. the farther south into the city the longer it will take. Newburgh area is about 4 hours away to give you and idea. The drive is simple and straight forward. RTE 17 North/West to Exit 65 (Owego exit), Go into town and go North on RTE 96 into Ithaca. After coming down the hill by Ithaca college hit RTE 13 North toward the regional airport. If you get on the web page for Ithaca Paintball it will guide you in from there. I can't make it because I will be on duty in Wash D.C. but I would love to play with my SL-68......Ah memories......... Hope this helps. Later
