AO NE IV.. Time to start planning?

Oh No! It's been about 3 months since we've had an AO NE Day!! I don't recall if we were planning on having another in August or September, but I do think that we should have the next Day at a field more in the western part of the state... Friendly Fire? Not that it will be particularly easy for me to get out there, but we may have a greater turnout if the field we use is more central to everyone. Well place suggestions for date and location here (and if you want to organize the day [Not to exclude Dansim from the task.].) =)

Because we're smack dab in the middle of everyone from Connecticut, and everyone from New Hampshire and Maine. Anyway. I think we should have one of those AO State Rivalry games at the next AO NE Day. Anyone up for it?

I know how you feel EsPo. I think someone mentioned that FF would be getting AirBall soon, hopefully in time for an AO NE day. Personally, I'd be willing to pay $80 bucks a case and $20 for admission and air if it meant we had one AirBall field on a grass field all to ourselves, that would be awesome!

have it in CT and I can get you 1 spool field, 1 supair (great.. lots of bunkers) and 1 hyperball field all to ourselves... (we'd have to take turns going on these fields with the open groups.. unless you went during the week)

Our friendly and professional staff is here to answer any questions you may have about our company and the sport we love to play

cheap paint (whitebox) 50 and they have a range of paints .. up to evil which is 80 or 84.. cant remember.

              the store is HUMONGOUS.

the fields are great.. all in open fields with woodchip (cept for the woodsball of course).

Eh, woodchips aren't the best fields IMO. Also, dansim usually sets it up so AOers get to play together on whatever field we want while the walk-ons go to a different field while we play. Heh, he also somehow manages to get the case prices down to about $60 bucks for Team Colors(or something of equal quality). Speaking of dansim, why hasn't he posted here yet!?!

Just let me know when and where (I'm assuming it will be on a weekend, so I'll have to get the time off). BTW, I do have to say that I enjoyed CCPB (even though it rained), and that I appreciated the effort the event planners put into it (in case I didn't say it before).

As far as a state rivalry game, us CT residents might have to team up with another state, otherwise we're going to be severely outnumbered.

As long as its not in like cape cod i'll most likely be there. If it was near a major highway in the western part of the state that'd be even better .

I think that I can also get one more CT AO'er (poolshark5226) as he lives about a mile away from me.

Actually, it was pretty easy to get to CCPB (except for the screwed up Yahoo directions). It should only take me about 1.75 hours to get up there (the next time I do go to CCPB), so from the Shelton/Huntington area, it shouldn't be any more than 3-3.5 hours (if you take 34 into New Haven, then catch 95 North).

If you had a preregistration with a preregistration fee and can guarantee 50 + people (like last time) maybe, just maybe, Tom and maybe myself, can make it out :-). No promises though. But just a thought. It would have to be sometime next year though
