    Bay Area AOers, scenario game

On Sunday, Aug 10, Venture Games is hosting a scenario game. I have no idea how well it will be run, how many people will turn out, but a few friends and myself are going anyway. Any of you guys want to give it a try? Post here and maybe we can but a small squad together.

Hey HiTech, I might be able to make it, I gotta check a few things first. The last time I tried to goto Venture, their website said they were open, but the closed due to "extreme heat" :-P.

Crap, what do they consider "extreme heat?" I played there a month ago and it was 110. If that isnt extreme, I dont know what is.

That having been said, I'm interested in this. I also have A LOT of left over paint from our three man this past weekend. I think the owner was trying to get some tanks together for it, he had bought these small tracked ATVs. Pretty cool. I think the scenario involved an Iraqi unit and an Army unit (11th ACR?), the one the owner served in back when. Ill only do it if other AOers are gonna go.

Yeah, the heat really is oppressive, and truth be told, Im kinda enjoying the whole speedball thing. That having been said, I might be lookin to join up with littlepaintballboy out there in Modesto, that field looks pretty nice...

Well, they beat us, but I think that was more luck, as we had then 2 on 1. And we were their only victory. In fact, out of 5 games we elimanated 2 3 times, and all 3 one time. They took out like 1 each time, at best, except for when they beat us.

                    But the milling WAS nice

Venture was the second field I ever played at. "We" played there for a long time. I don't remember it being all that hot. Then again, I was much younger then, I'm much older now...

Also, I've been bad and started another thread in the Scenario Forum.

ryan, you cant have an adrenaline impy and a viking. that violates the sgpp(sweet guns per person) limit. i think youll have to sell the viking to me.

I will be reffing this event, see some of you guys out there, its not that hot up there. at the most it will reach mid 90's on a hot day. And that day they were closed due to extreme heat wasnt really becaue it was hot, it was because his paint supplier didnt get paint in time for him.
