There are three separate fires going on in San Diego right now. I live west of the 15 freeway so I've been fine so far but B_K was forced to evacuate. I'd rather let him say more when he's ready and I don't want to call him first because I'm sure he's got more than enough to deal with than to have me bother him. He and his family are in my prayers.

Dear lord the fires followed me home. I woke up this morning and smoke and ash all over the place. My Staff NCOIC called me and said MCAS Miramar was being evacutated because the flight line was chared... Something tells me i wont be able to get on base tomorrow.... too think only last week i walked down that air strip.....
BTW Velocity paintball park was closed today. the fire in ramona was only a few miles away. im not sure if it was spared. At their store in bonita i was inforemed that the owners were on their way to see if they could save anything..

For what they are selling the C4 pants for...all they would need to do is sell like 20 of them to take care of any fire damage that they sustain.

Well i came home to find out that there was a fire about 2 miles away from the house. We spent all day today evacuating cause it was on top of us. The fire guys did an awesome job but i think the count of houses last time i heard was 280. AO was awesome i had a lot of fun.

It's more than that now. I think SD area had 337 lost houses. Total for SoCal was over 400-450. Kinda scary. My sister lives in Pomona and ash is everywhere. She said that they could see the fire line from her house. The fire already reached the 210 early morning. Parts of San Bernardino was also having brown outs. Yesterday, I went to my sisters house and most of the lights were out, including the traffice lights. One id10t ran a dead intersection almost hitting cars that had the right of way. If anyone of you are around the area, watch out for those drivers.

Man. This is terrible. Over 800 houses in SoCal have burned. Unfortunatly mother earth won't help out the F.Fighters til wednesday ish when it is supposed to get more humid and cooler (78 for the out of towners) all that are near these things please be safe.
                              Sorry, I'm old

Yeah..I heard an unofficial report was that they aren't anticipating having the fire completely contained for at least a week..
