Just thought you guys might be interested but they are talking that "The Base" (Al Quaeda) started the fires. Here is the link:

supposedly this is what caused those bad brush fires in Austrailia a while back.

I just got off the phone with BK a few minutes ago. Yes, he and his family had to pack their important stuff and evacuate. They are safe at another family member's house and waiting to hear more news with regards to the status of their neighborhood.

Although the fires are far from where I live, it is scary to think that a good friend is dealing with the threat of the fires currently blazing. Let's pray and hope that all will be safe and that no one else loses their home.

BK told me to tell you all that he's alright. He'll log on later when he finds out more. Take care buddy.

I'M DOING GOOD!

House is still standing, everything around us is burned. We hope to get back into the house sometime today, I will post pics once I have power and an interconnect connection at home. Thanks to my AO peeps for their thoughts and prayers.

You could have called me...I was worried I wouldn't have a home to go to...as well as a local field! But I think the fire might have missed Velo...not sure though...I will stop by their store later to find out.
