Been to Thunder Alley once, and had an ok time... be prepared to spend a hundred bucks... and field paint when I was there was Stinger for $65 a case...

For some of us, spending $100 would be an average day of paintball. Then again we would be mostly hosers, ay. Can't say I like spending top dollar for average paint though. I don't mind spending $65/case for Marbz... I'd rather pay more to get into the place than pay too much for bad paint.
Interesting about FSL, just goes to show that paintball as a whole isn't necessarily a lucritive business. I'm to the point where I don't mind paying a premium for entry to a well run facility that is a safe place to play and where they make it fun for everyone. Probably why I stick to the fields that I do.
I've really got the itch now. Today's weather was such a tease. they are talking about snow and 30's next week.

Actually, it seems that a lot of fields are going to have that be the first open play weekend. I will have to see if I can get the planets to align and get out to play.
I'm thinking Alamo in the afternoon on Saturday and Action Packed Paintball Games in the afternoon on Sunday.I went like this :shooting:

Hey there guys I play splat tag in Hudson alot walkons and the big games. Have we met out there? I shoot an RTwith qloader ,Ygrip with qloader, mini mag with left warp that keeps the tanker busy till the fire team gets him with the rocket. If you guys see me out there give a hollor. JR, yup I got it running nice. Looking around for a better cocker threaded barrel though. I think the Classic is going to get a pump kit installed after SPE. I'll definetly make the Hunt For The Cure and all the Splat Tag Big Games. Looking forward to seeing more of the MN AOers. I'm going to get more Mag time as well as all the pump games this year.Comment

Sage, That is the nice thing about the Micros and the ULE bodies, cocker threads on the barrels make it really easy to find something that will suit your needs. I got one of those Apex Barrels that I've not been able to try out yet (got it to try it out, have heard good and bad things about it). I also have the Pipe and Edge Kits. I'm almost thinking that a good one piece would have met my needs really anyway.
Anyone getting out this weekend? It's 2:00 on Saturday afternoon and I can't seem to drive myself out to a field. Maybe tomorrow I will make it out to APPG in Jordan.I went like this :shooting:
