Finally, here's Z-man's proof that there is a Chevy's near SCP. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same Chevy's he was thinking about.
SPS16 & Yagr, sorry for eating all the Chevy chips on our side. Out of the 4 baskets, i'm sure i ate 3 of them.

Overall, I had a terrific time hanging out and playing paintball with you guys. It feels like we've all been playing paintball together for a long time even though it was our 2nd, 3rd meeting. I apologize you guys had to walk back to the staging area 3/4 of the day and see me passed out on the bench. I know it wasn't a pretty sight. Man..i was a complete mess!! 98 degree weather and Dr. Atkins vanilla weightloss shake for lunch is not a good combination. Z-man...thank you for supplying the water, I'd still be lying on the bench if it wasn't for that.
I'm definitely looking forward to our next meeting!! Hopefully we can get Blennidae, covadsucks, and the other Nor Cal guys on the next AO Day.Comment

That is not "wedgie" that is my putting a pod in my holder. Sheesh...
That being said, it is an unfortunate picture, and it took me a second to figure out what I was doing.Comment

Wow, I gotta bring a camera next time. Those are some great shots.
Yesterday was a great day. What started out as a simple get-together turned out to be a better attended event than AO day 2. And frankly, as much fun as AO Norcal 2 was, yesterday was even better.
Some highs:
-Everyone showing up
-Refs were better about getting games started
-Yager bunkering that poor defenseless kid cowering behidn that bunker
-Zak and I exchaning fire accross the field
-Destroying the competition in Intermediate
-As a group, getting Mighty Mike to drop the Atkins diet and go carb-crazy at Chevys
-The refs asking Zak if he was rapid-firing, him telling them "Its a mechanical" then going right back to the sweet-spotting. I think the ref became somewhat confused.
Some lows:
-Sour grapes by Conner for that game where I was tossing loads of paint at him. Its A POD GOING IN A HARNESS!
-Odd problems with air systems, good thing all we had to do was "add some oil" to fix everything
--Me slipping and running into something. I think this is becoming an AO day tradition.
-Me ripping all day on the Viking, then, when the tape is running, a kid with a spyder imagine could have beat me. Pathetic.
So, what did we learn? A little oil will fix anything. We learned where Chevys actually was, and Zak wasnt even close the first time. We learned that refs will eventually see through any sort of deceipt regarding the function of certain markers, so you gotta make the best of it while you can get away with it.
It was a great day. I look forward to the next time we all get together.
Best exchange of the day:
Random guy in Chevys parking lot (RGICPL)-"Where can you play paintball around here?"
Zak-"We were at SCP, but you can also go to TAG!"
RGICPL-"TAG sucks."

yeah that one hurt. It was like being stood up in front of the most important crowd of people.
I think my responce was "I'll be merciful and not slay you where you sit for saying that." (he was in his car ready to run too)
Mighty Mike- AWSOME PICTS DUDE! you have much better material than the video I have (I'll have more up soon).
Steelrat-great summery especially the "oil fixes everything"
and now, THE REF! This guy was watching our rapidfiring and paint race with all the compasion of Captain Bligh would have...Comment

As a dad, I really appreciate being able to bring my 11 year old son to be with you guys. Sometimes we end up playing at fields with folks that aren't exactly role models, but you guys are all gentlemen.Comment
