hey guys.. i may swing down for this.. depending on finances, etc.. I havent played all summer so im itching to get out there at least once. I've played at CCPB once before and it was pretty good.. Only problem, my HPA tank was out of hydro this month and I haven't gotten a chance to get it tested.. anyone got an extra screw in handy that i may need to borrow?

We usually have a throw-together 3-man but I'm not sure if Joe knows that dansim use to have someone make medals for the winners. I'll have Joe talk to Dan and we'll try and get things squared away.

and to answer everyones question on this, NO, we are not doing the pre-reg this time around. I do plan on organizing AO NE 5, which will be in the spring so there is a better chance that jon and tom can attend. details for this are still in the works.

okay sue, heres what i did

i would call them about a month before the event and place and order depending on the number of people aone there was one trophy aone2 ?? ask tramp, aone3 i went big but we got lousy weather i had 1 top gun trophy,3 first place tourney trophys and 6 medals for 2,3rd, also you need to strat emailing and cold calling companies to see if they can donate anything, aone was powerlyte(thanks again they rocked), aone2???, and aone3 was agd, bring some paper a couple of sharpies and make a cheap sign from poster board lol, and usually if ccpb has em we get a bunch of barrel condoms(everyone hold em up lol) but if jon doesnt help you out there let me talk to him i actually work for him right now, but i think we may need to team up for aone5, and usually i end up losing money on the whole thing to keep prices down last ao day cost me 90$ even after having to raise the price ont the toruneys but i didnt want to rip anyone so i ate the loss, even though i was unemployed(you lousy non showing up rain people ) and if you have one bring a pop up canopy. so there you go an aone day in a nutshell, i hope you checked with jon to make sure no nepl or pnl tourneys are that weekend ill ttyl

oh and usually i will have open play all morning until 1 or so(after lunch) then have the tourneys set up like


8-breakfast at ihop
9-field set up
930-1030 people show up
1000 greetings and saftey briefs
1015-1030 first games
1200-1230ish lunch
1300-3 man toruneys
1300-open play for non entrants
1500-top gun tourney
1600-last recycle game of teh day
1630-presenting of awards, raffle
1700-leave field head to ??? for after party

but my schedule looked like
8-breakfast
9-set up
930-tell refs to go brief people
945-argue with one indiscrinate person
10-check out everyones pimp guns
1005-take money and names for tourneys
1030 play a game
1100 get more names for tourneys as late comers appear
1200 orginize the refs top take lunch order
1230 run to shop for whatever someone forgot
1245 set up the damn tourneys i never get to play in
1300 yell at everone to come sign up if they havent
1301 see im one man short and i get to play a tourney
1302 someone else wants to sign up
1303 remove myself and stick new player in
1304-06 grumble
1310 announce teams(randomly determined)
1315 first games
1315-1545 write down winners and keep tourney moving
1600-get top gun orginized
1630- yell at everyone again to come get prizes
1700-drive to hotel,then to packy to get liquor,then back to hotel,then to resteraunt,then to hotel,then drink,then get cleaned up,

and somehow take alot of pictures, in the rain

If I do actually make it (financial problems), I'll be there alone, and probably at about 9, we (daddio and I) are leaving here at 6.... and traffic allowing, I'll be there at 9 and ready to help out getting organized/setting up fields. I have experience with the tubeless sup'air fields as well as folding tables and makeshift tent making :)

I don't really see there being time for professional awards to be made, but maybe we could play for cash and/or cheap gear (barrel condoms or something).

Sounds good to me Joe, cash is always a favorite! Anyone know where we can get one of those "Official AO Day" banners? That'd be really cool to have with us, especially with the amount of people it sounds like will be attending.

also at the nj ao days we had the 3 man tourney have a 20 dollar entry fee and we gave away equipment such as goggles and stuff.
