NorCal AO Day#4 T.A.G.
I am jumping the gun but I hear that Steelrat has pacified all those who oppose the whole T.A.G. thing and that this may in fact occur. so I have made this thread and will put some picts in it of my last Sat game so you can see what the place looks like (and a little bit of me being incredibly cool).

Patience my son! I am being kind to those of you who are using a lowly 56K modem. The save for Web option crushes those 2MB picts down to about 40K eacha dn you will thank me for that someday. I forgive you. and yea its the Blaze stuff. Works ok for me.Comment

Cant be as bad as the crappy Big Ball I was using this past weekend, that stuff was all over the place. In fact, I was planning on switching to Blaze, so that would be just fine.
This time Im going to put my debounce to 1 and show you how to rapidfire "Viking style."
Also, I found out why my ROF was suffering in the last video at SCP. My screw that hits the microswitch to fire the gun had moved, changing the point in the pull where the gun would fire. Mr. Locktite will take care of that issue from now on

Hyperball
this is the best descriptive pict I can find. The field is one of the 3 tourny style fields (Hyperball, Speedball and Airball). They are all about the same size (big basketball court size) and most importantly they all have bunkers that a guy who is 6'3" can hide behind! yea!!!!!Comment

Your field has non-tourney size also, right? I think that would be nice, for a change. Zack, Chris and I had fun at valley thunder with their non-tournament size fields.Comment

Speedball
I am counting on it. I have no fears. Free hotdogs at noon will buy you all out no problem. that is one of the nice things there FREE DEATHDOGS!!
note: this field is designed as an intro field for newbies. you can LITERALLY walk to the 50 and not be ablt to see the other side...Comment

Airball
Again this is a Doghouse style but you can see that 2 full sized guys can fit in one comfortably. The stand up cans are HUGE too. This field is changed every week.Comment

Triangle
This is the only 1 of the 3 "recball" or woodlandball type fields that I have picts of. It is the largest and least covered (in trees). The other 2 (Congo and Jungle) have recently been revamped with many more bunkers as they used to be a bit crappy (esp Jungle).Comment

And of course you can go check out the T.A.G. website (with is less that impressive right now) at www.adventuregame.com (update) is SO unimpressive that it's not even up right now...
2 sessions per day on Sat and Sun.
1st Session 9-12noon
1 hours break with all you can eat hotdogs
2nd session 1-4pm
admission is $35 for the full day with the all day airpass.
If we get I think it's 13+ people (slim chance) we can have our own private group. Otherwise we will be playing with other random people.
There is no beginner/intermed./advanced at T.A.G it's just "self-equpied" or "renter."
Typically Renters play by themselves and SE people play by themselves but if either group is sparse (say like 8 people or less) they will mix it up. If we want to stick together we probably can swing it.
There is also no surrender rule. you can shoot as close as you want, but they will nail you if you start being a punk and overshoot so be nice. The refs are usually pretty good about stuff and will not hesitate to throw the hotheads off the property.
I had been talking to Steelrat about this via PM but as T.A.G ONLY TAKE WHITE fill paint it would be nice to bulk order or find a nice cheap hookup. I know that Breakout (Woodstalk) in Fort Ord Monterey will sell you a case for $40 so that is an option and there is a possibility I can get a better deal from T.A.G. BUT DO NOT EXPECT IT. I have to sweet talk Roland. Speaking of which...
I am selling a brand new E-Class Orracle on Ebay for him. Go look at it. I will also be selling some blue Angel for him. I dunno what it is.. some blue one maybe a 2002 LCD that will be up later.Comment
