NorCal Day 4: The Aftermath

Its only a blurb of Yagr and I laying the paint on a bunker in the "Jungle" field. We both dumped a hopper on full rapidfire, the guy in that bunker must have been crapping his pants :) Eblades are goooood...

And even that teeny tiny video is 12 megs. We will just have to distribute a DVD or something.

ProX9, that picture of you and I is the best one of the bunch. We look so synchronized, it almost seems like it was staged.

Play of the day: Zman leaping through the field screaming "HE"S RIGHT BEHIND ME! SHOOT HIM!". That defined taking one for the time.

My favorite game: getting the flag hang on the middle rec field after Steelrat and I flanked the entire field and started shooting everyone out, friend and foe alike. Got a bit confusing so we just stopped worrying about it.

All in all, a great day, but man my knees feel like a box of rocks from running up and down those hills.

Woot! My god, Im ready for my close up Mr.Deville. Theres always something on my face, when I take pics on AO day, wether its lint on my chin or paintshell on my cheek, blah. That was a bombtastic day.

Aegis: that was one bithcin' shot to the face man. Here i was "infiltrating" "taking point" then thwack! Owned! them bush fields felt like old times man.

I think playin at TAG is one reason to justify getting an X valve.

Well, before WAP, I think we owe it to the Modesto bunch to do something in their neck of the woods *cough*barbecueafterwards*cough*

Well, that was a great day of play at TAG. Unfortunately, this gives me little ammunition with which to mock Zak. I started off the day great, and got progressively crappier throughout the day, to the point where a rental with a pump could have bunkered me.

High point(s) of the day:

-Bunkering Chris [Nelson voice]Ha ha[/Nelson voice]
-Wiping out EVERYONE with Aegis as we swept around the flank during that one game.
-Getting the Lotus working, and raining paint with Yagr.
-NOT wiping out (yay!)
-NOT getting bunkered (yay!)
-shooting the crud out of ProX9. And I quote "i wouldnt mind playin AO vs all as long as they dont split us up, because i dont want to have get another viking owner out and humiliate him but if i have to i will" Ho ho ho, who's your daddy now, punk! :)

Low points:

-Watching Chris getting bunkered over, and over, and over, and over...
-Running out of breath in spectacular fashion on triangle (medic!)
-Getting the crap shot out of me towards the end of the day
-Having to admit that playing at TAG was fun
-Seeing Carbon be the focus of almost every photo..sheesh!
-Seeing first-hand the horror that is Drakula paint

Anyways, I'll be playing the weekend after next (thats the nature of the treaty between my wife and I) so Im open to suggestions if anyone will be playing that weekend. Not necessarily and AO day, but Im lonely when I play with strangers, and I need the positive reinforcement.

Actually, that paint wasn't bad, but i don't think we will buy it again. After shooting Matt's and Ryans vikings, i'm trying to find someone to give me a trade Zak, you're trying to buy kilueakids SFL? That thing is SWEEEEET!

matt: they have big ball for 30, midnight for 35, blaze for 39, premium for 42, evil for 45, marbs for 50, cant remember the other prices.

well, this was another rockin ao day. i have too much homework to knock out a long ode to tag, so ill do that tomorrow.

That would be me. Sorry I was out all day. Unlike you slackers who got to sleep in today. I got pulled out of bed at 6 AM to drive up to Sacramento and back. Now that I just got in, I get to fall asleep and go to work tomorrow AND I STILL have all those guns in the car! Now to copy Ryan's format.

High Points:

-Great turnout! I was the 3rd car to show up. I had visions of you all lost in Freedom for hours as TAG is a bit hidden.

-You all liked TAG! I was happy to leave with a full stomach than battered and bloodied.

-During the first session when they let up play AO vs. all (only a few of us were ready at that point). I seem to recall it was always the same. Ryan and I just blew everything away and ran over them. Never mind the fair fight, I'm all about annihilation.

-Never being asked "is that full auto?" ( I love working there)

-Everyone got to play with all sorts of guns. I might be turned into a Viking guy... on the side of course.

-Actually hitting 4 people in under 200 rounds. It was amazing!

-and lastly and evil high point. I think it was one of your friends Carbon, who I laid into. He was standing wide open and I spit out about 20 rounds across the field and got him about 8 times. I felt bad... but only for a second.

Not-so-high points:

-Nutz shot in the 4th game. Yeah that one hurt a bit...

-Running out of air with Ryan in sight...

-and the #1 of the day with was mentioned above: Running up to the last opposing team member; having the perfect position on him (2 feet away and he was on his back), pulling the trigger with a smirk of satisfaction.... and hearing the dreaded sound on no paint.... Yea I think what I looked like was Neo running from the agents in the 1st Matrix movie; dodging back and forth fleeing in terror with paintbaolls whizzing around me. BUT! I would like to point out I survived with my mad skillz.
