does anybody have experience with the shocktech bumperless ram...and is it any good. Also is it that much trouble changing the bumpers on the stock rams???

i think you could have picked a better place to ask a timmy question, but i guess you lucked out this time.
the shocktech ram is pretty good, i don't know of anyone who has had to change out the bumper on one. i'm almost positive you can't change the bumper on it. it also creates more bounce on a timmy, as if you needed anymore. this could be a problem sometimes.
to change the stock ram bumper is really easy. you put two fingers on it and pull. sometimes if it gets destroyed you might need some needle nose pliers. you don't have to do it often though, i've replaced one in 6 months and i usually shoot around 2 cases a week. i think ram bumpers are around a buck each which makes the bumperless ram kind of pointless since it's around 100 bucks for one.
my advice is to buy a couple of bumpers and forget about the shocktech. if you're really looking to add bounce to your timmy wait for the was version.Comment
