Nov. 22 Skirmish- GPL 5/3 man

I was just wondering if anybody is gonna be going to the GPL on the 22nd at Skirmish. I'm pretty sure I'll be going in 5 man for either B or C division.

Yea...sorry I messed up the date. I'll be going with the MSG Regulators in division c for the 5 man...I guess I'll see some of you guys there.

I would just like to say that the first GPL event had the worst reffing and the most cheating teams I have ever come in to contact with. Refs where nothing more than kids who wanted to get paid, and not ref. They made HORRIBLE calls, absolutley horrible. I approched them and told them about a team that had a player on the sidlines nodding his head to his team when our front players where about to move. They said this to me, "Oh, we saw them, but we didn't do anything because the team was too stupid to realize what he was doing". C'mon, if he was doing that, his team was more than aware he was. Even if the team wasn't aware he was doing it, which they where, the refs saw it! They knew what he was doing and didn't care! It cost us the game when it came down to 2 v 2. Down on field 2, the refs where evn worse! There was one game where my halo jammed, so i took it off and hand loaded balls. I shot someone in the shoulder and screamed for a ref to pull him on an obvious hit, and they did NOTHING. They left him there, I got shot, and the game was over. As he was bringing the flag to our side, the refs checked him and called him clean with an bvious break on his arm! When I told them about it they told me to "shut up int he deadbox, it's wipe from a bunker". The last game we played I was coming out my left side can, and the ref runs up to me, looks to see if something broke on my foot, and is touching me trying to find a break. I think I'm neutral, after all he is touching me and pushing my gun outside my bunker! I say, "tell me quick, I'm gonna bunker this guy", and he says "Lemme check again, opps, now your hit". As someone shoots my hopper that is being pushed outside my bunker by this ref! I could be wrong, but I have never palyed at a field where when the refs touching you, you're not nuetral. All in all, it was fun, and we had a good time playing, but I just wanted to let everyone know what horrible cheating and reffing was going on. Lots of emags, I liked that though:-D

Hey Branch...We played your team I think. I have to agree that field 2 was horrible and the refs were quite bad. We got a team that forfeited due to lateness...they came 5 games later AFTER we handed in the signed sheet, and we had to play them and only got 30 points instead of the 70 or 80 we would have with a forfeit which would have bumped us up to 6th place. I too noticed a lot of cheating...and a lot of emags. I was thinking of taking it out for a game or two but my eblade was shooting so nice.

My halo ran out of batteries in the middle of the last game... if i had a rip drive we woulda got the pull and hang too

Yeh, we played you guys...I'm pretty sure we played you late int the day and you pretty much destroyed us. Your team wasn't the one at the end where the ref wouldnt pull me, so I drilled one of your players coming to bunker me, right? I apologized for that lol, if it was you.

Hm...Did you play Regulators Black or Blue? Which field was it on?

If its the game I'm thinking of it was on field 1 and I ran up to the back can and you were in the back can?

Yeh, that's exactly how it happened on field 1. Sorry about shooting you again, the ref wouldn't give me a straight answer, so I had to shoot.

Yep...No problem...I understand completely...dumb refs, and besides it was only 3 points.
