My biggest complaint was the lack of professionalism. Most of the people who approached me with their products had beer in their hands, breathe stunk, and honestly...I wouldn't give them my money even if I thought their product was good. I'm not going to name vendors, but there's a time for beer. Selling to new, potential buyers with a beer in your hand wasn't a way to do it. They didn't even know how to hide it the right way.
That my friend is why I didn't go. I'll save my money for the upcoming tournies or RogueFactor. Which ever comes first.

She's in the PGI booth. It's on the left most row, 5 row down. Jeff, aka Paintballdaddy, was with Equation. I talked to him yesterday and he told me that his new store is not open yet because of leasing issues. Can't remember the full details but he is hoping to opening soon.

If you didn't go, you didn't miss much...

There were large print signs out front which read "NO REFUNDS"... that should have been a clue, but I missed it. The PGI booth was closed when I got there around noon, just empty boxes and the banner. Capo was sittin' in another booth, looking as bored as I was. The prices on everything I wanted were the same or even a little higher than I've found on the internet. All in all it was fun to hang out with fellow paintballers, but hind sight being 20/20 I should have gone out to SC village and played with Rogue and company...

This years was much larger than last years if you can believe that. It seems to be getting better but is best for those who had a specific reason for going. Most standard things like Halo's can be found online for just as good prices. The only bonus of getting them at the expo would be that there's no tax or shipping. Ratco packs were going for good deals and I went specifically for a type of pod that is impossible to get a hold of.

If you're looking for new and exciting things that are usually announced at large tournys then you'd definitely be dissapointed, this is just a large vendor show. The up side, it is getting much bigger every year. I suspect that it will get better with each upcoming show.

This event was earlier this month. You might be mixing this up with LA Open being held at the same location from March 3-7.
