I was there last year and plan to make it this time also. I will have to see what else is going on at the fairplex, last year ther was a battlebot type comp the same day.

Well it will still be worth going, i just want to get out and do something. Thats all i need to do now is find a ride how confusing is it to drive around down there? I live about 2 hours away and just got my license so I dont wanna get lost, LOL.

Well I'd recommend mapquest-ing it first but you're talking about serious cow country. As long as you can get yourself to Pomona there really isn't much out there, I think the Fairplex is the biggest thing they have going on. It's not like driving in a city if that's what you're asking.
