Well guys I'm backing out. I've decided to hit SC Village w/Rogue on Saturday. $12 + $6 for parking to view stuff isn't my idea of fun. So I've decided I'll spend that $18 at SC playing and having fun. Enjoy yourself guys. Oh any plans of an after party?

This is an exhibition game where they pit you and up to two friends against a pro. At least that's how they set it up last year. That's six bucks per person per game. It was funny to watch complete newbies playing against an experienced tourney player but why would I pay $6.00 a piece for me and Amoq to beat up on some poor old pro player?Originally posted by melch
this says we can play there ?

$6.00 to play.
We provide the markers such as Impulses, Orracles, Emags, and more, plus the goggles and paint.
It seemed like the games lasted only under a minute each, not that it was limited to only a minute just the "guests" were rolled over pretty easily. The only good games were where the tourney players played one on one when they didn't have any takers...

What luck! I was gonna drop by the PGI booth for a subscription anyway... got a guaranteed sale right here!Originally posted by CaPoEiRa
Well as weird and kinda cool as having my own booth would be, I'm actually going to be at PGI's selling subscriptions. Hold on, I'm practicing, "BUY PGI NOW, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO". Damn, I'm good.

BLEH! For me, it wasn't that great. I was really looking forward to buying some good stuff at hopefully discounted prices. I was looking for a Halo B but couldn't find anything. I heard paint prices would be cheap but most were basically field paint...yuk! Everything else was pretty much the same price as you would see at your local shop.Originally posted by Kasper

My biggest complaint was the lack of professionalism. Most of the people who approached me with their products had beer in their hands, breathe stunk, and honestly...I wouldn't give them my money even if I thought their product was good. I'm not going to name vendors, but there's a time for beer. Selling to new, potential buyers with a beer in your hand wasn't a way to do it. They didn't even know how to hide it the right way.

Hehe! You know...even though I got Capo's autograph, I wasn't creative enough to have her add..."Havok who?"
Granted, I only came up with that on my way home. DOH! Good job!
