welcome dude. the norcal ao scene is alive and well. just a few pointers:

it might be a bit hard to find littlepaintballboy: hes kinda short. just remember to lookd down.
if you ever end up on the recieving of z-man's fire, go tell the ref its full auto.
look out for steelrat. he will bite if provoked.

Welcome to the norcal gang! We post on here about every month or so when we are looking for a get together. And most of us play every other weekend or so. I, for example, am planning on going to Valley Thunder this Sunday to try out the new X-mag Feel gree to pm any of us, or just post up here if you are looking to grab a day of play with someone.

No, whats silly is that I keep finding good deals on stuff. I'll PM you about the X. I think I will stick with what I have now. I've experimented with various guns now, and i know what I like. Just took a bit of playing around to get there.

Im from Brentwood, its near antioch and pittsberg, its East Bay Area. i normally play about 3 times a week on a speedball course i made, and sometimes i head out to a woodball place called Venture Games at Mt. Diablo, Action Paintball, and a few others but i dont go to paintball places too much...thinking about doing it more if i have someone to go with. but i like speedball the best. im pretty new to AO, do you guys meet and play together at these places, i rarely see automags when i go play, most of the time im the only Mag playing. btw i have a RT Pro w/ a Bigg Daddy Teardrop Barrel, shockteck dropforward, and got a qloader, zgrip, and lvl 10 that will be here soon

Well, about that emag...

padiwack, I live in Antioch. I've played at venture a couple of times, and really enjoyed it. I like thier field for a change from the typical speedball. But if speedball is what you are after, the best field for that around here seems to be SCP in San Jose. I havent gone to the jungle, and I dont plan on going. I like valley thunder, SCP, and Venture enough to stay away from the rest. Except for extreme, which unfortunately is too far away for normal play.


I was planning on going to VT this sunday, but if you are looking to meet some of the AO crowd I could go to Venture instead. I think im close to my free day

i hear Crossfire in manteca is a good course. i dont go to the jungle b/c its full of cheaters. but this upcoming weekend im going snowboarding for 4 days, maybe the following weekend we could do a small AO meet somewhere

I work at Crossfire, it's about 5 minutes from my house. My opinion is that while it is a good field, you don't get as much play in as I wish you did. And Twisted Revolution or another big tourney team is always using X-Bal,, but when they leave you get to play it. If you ask me, Extreme in Modesto is a waayyyyyy better field. Ask any of the AO guys, we got a crap load of games in at Extreme.
