New Jersey Team BlackCell is looking for dedicated players using AGD makers.

When created yrs ago, BlackCell was the Original NewJersey All Mag Team. Over the years of change, we continue to stand by our use of AGD Markers w/AGD products as our Main setups. During the 2003 season, we played 3man, 5man and 7man tournaments, from GPL League, hosting our own Tournament and AO Day Events at local friendly NJ Fields, and road tripping to big events like Skyball, NPPL NY and NJ and Huntington Beach, Ultimate Madness, and IAO. (this coming year; more NPPL Trips, and World Cup).

The reformatting of the team has led to spots to open up on the team for the 2004 Season - Front, Mid and Back. Benefits of being on BlackCell include discounts through Sponsorship on AGD Products, Tunamart.com who deals in AGD and Powerlyte products, FryMarker custom grips, and Shooters & Looters

we are sponsored by AGD so you must shoot an AGD Marker as your main gun and use it predominantly.

sup pimp. are there any black cell players from princeton or the around area (lawrenceville) im hailing from the ville and i really want to play w/y'all. i have a warped emag as my main gun so that wont be a prolem i just have no way to get to y'all. but it might work if someone on ur team played from around and could give me a ride.

Are all mag teams practical now that AGD is getting out of the tournament market? This is a serious question, as an e-mag shooter, I've been wondering if it is possible to field an effective team shooting mags exclusively. Don't get me wrong, I love my micro-emag and wouldn't trade it for anything (well maybe an Alias or X-mag ) but does excluding people because of their markers limit the players that you take? Its disheartening for me to write this because I wish there were lots of mag exclusive (or predominant) teams .

I know that there is something unique about an all automag shooting team. It makes the team special, in a way that I could never describe, but looking towards the future, it is impossible for me to block out these thoughts. Can I get your opinions on these things? If this is inappropriate here, I will remove this post and use PMs should you wish.

            NJpaint good question:

Just because AGD will no longer make the E/X-mag does not mean that they are leaving the tournament market. Several companies have taken a hiatus and then comes back strong. WGP did it a few years ago. (Purchasing an Autococker meant buying an expensive upgrade one out of the box, or taking it to an Autococker guru and have him charge you a vast amount of money to have him make it tournament ready. Now you can compete just fine with a stock Autococker.)

Is it possible to field an effective ALL Automag team? Yes it most definately is. Last year Team Blackcell was able to place top 10 at almost every tournament. In our first national event (IAO) the team was forced to play a division higher. Unfortunately the team did not place but were able to compete against every team they played and missed the cut by about 70 points(which is a flag pull and hang). After our unfortunate break up the members who went to PBX Violator were able to place 3rd at Global Paintball League, a league which has attracted many high caliber teams. Team Lock n Load is a very strong team from the mid-west that is a team to wreckon with. They place first multiple times in a year. Then there are the AGD factory teams. Wins at Skyball, IAO, and impressive finishes at Mardis Gras open and Ultimate Madness show that it is possible to field an effective team.

Yes the most difficult part about this whole process is finding individuals who like to use the Automag line of markers. However the game of paintball is not about 100% skill. It is about the players who are willing to practice and make sacrifices in order to improve. "When you're not practicing, remember, someone, somewhere, is practicing and when you meet him, he will win." Ed Macauley said this. We know that this team can attract so many more players who do not use Automags, but since i have been on this team, i have noticed that the Automag users have the greatest level of dedication. To their marker and their team. And yes there is something special about being on an all Mag team. Its not the fact that you get to say you are sponsored by AGD but something more that you have to experience to understand.

            Hope that answered your question.
