Well, the weather kept me away - as it may have a lot of people. It appears the turnout was about 200 lower than expected, but 800+ is still pretty good.

Yeah the weather pretty much locked my guys down for last weekend as well... We just figured we would play this weekend instead but just remembered Splat has a 5-Man this weekend...

So Sunday we are going out to a guy who maintains some large wooded fields for some rec ball in Dover Ohio instead.

Total Brainfart not to check their webpage for the info... but hey I am sure it is a bit of just their point of view...

Thanks Trains ... pretty much as I figured... some times it funs to get a little dirty like that... and that water and mud probably isn't that bad this time of year... the mositoes are not that heavy yet...

ALSO... for AO-OH ... has anyone heard anything about Indian Springs ? Their website is down... been down for a few weeks now.. and nobody is answering their phones and there is no message on their phones any more just a beep ?

Was thinking about playing there this sunday ? but this raised a lot of questions for me?

One thing that bothered me is I and my bud watched a guy crank his velocity all the way up in fort buckeye. I told a ref, who did nothing about it.

I haven't. Someone posted a review of the field over at pbreview.com on Monday, May 17 (two days ago). I don't know how current the review is against when the last time the reviewer played there, but noone else has brought up such news.

I'm up for playing anytime ... just give me a date, time, and address and I'll be there. Can't say the same for my teammates though ... the fools went and got wives and kids and stuff.

I double checked into it today... I guess indian springs are still up and running just went totally un-virtual a few months back... and changed their phone numbers this year so it's been a while since I played there so all my old stuff has changed...

As for comming up for a game... Looks like me and some my crew are going to have a probaly plaing some ole fashion rec ball this sunday .... and probably a nice game set up probably at Splat June 5th... You are more than welcome to join us at any time... Send me a PM if you want more details and contact information... And if some are interested I would be happy to talk to Bruce at splat and get us some deals for a Mini AO day there ... He use to be a Mag owner and he use to work for my cousin when he had a shop years ago so he is a friend...
