AO VA day, you pick time and place VOTE

COMPROMISE people compromise.
We have to do a time and place to accomodate as many VAers as possible. If we go too extreme of a location north south east or west we will lose out on people. Trust me from experience. Kevin and I are prolly the original guys who actually came together for the first AO VA days.

To the northern folk, Ill caravan a few guys down to richmond area (BCBG, splat and PBA) if need be just as long as we get as many people as possible.
Pick a middle ground like BCBG and you wont find as many whiney babies saying its too far.

Also think of this. After some paintball play at BCBG pick up an afternoon pass to Kings Dominion and hit all the water rides. Wash out all that nasty paint and shnaz. ITS A GOOD IDEA, listen to Ho (waves hand in Jedi-like manner)

The thinking behind BCBG is very sound, all in all it is the best located field and allows you to BYOP. But the field itself isn't very good.

so perhaps TMX is a better idea, i sorta know the guy that runs/owns that place and might be able to get us a deal if we can get a crowd out there. I do know they have a decent air ball field (better than BCBG's 1 hyperball field).

I guess TMX is the next best place if we want to go cental (I still want Pev's because we all know it's the greatest field on earth )

If we went to BCBG there's no way their fields could hold 20+ people. I don't think it should even be on the list. :\

Even though Skyline is my field (Not literally, it's just the one I go to) and favorite field I've ever played at I voted for Splat Bros. because it's in a much better location. Although Pevs is wining so maybe location for everyone isn't something those people had in mind?

Major_Ho is right about the compromising part, if we want to get as many people as possible it has to be as central as possible. Is it a coincidence that 2 great fields happen to reside in Richmond which is as central as we're gonna get? I don't think so! If you guys are gonna be stubborn and want to stay North AT LEAST vote for Skyline then. It's North but not as North as Pevs which is a little easier for us S.VA guys. If we played at Pevs and the game started at 9 I'd have to get up at 5:30 to get ready and be on the road by 6, and that's driving 10 over the speed limit. :\

Any day in July works for me. I just need at least a week in advance to tell my boss I can't work that day.

Simple as that... it's one of the best paintball facilities in the country. Plus it's BYOP, as one of the earlier posts seemed to suggest that was important. They can fill anything, they have ALL equipment you could ever want plus a fully stocked pro shop with airsmithing abilities... as much as I sound like a walking Pev's ad, it really is great.

And don't forget the X-ball field!!

Okay, HurleyHero and I looked at Pev's website last night and they won us over. :\

We couldn't pass up the size or awesomeness of the Hyperball field. Plus the Compound field with the massive creek... Wow. I know it's pretty far North but it looks like it'll be worth the trip. A whole bunch of AO ballers up at a huge field, what could be better?

But in this case the night before I'll come out to my house in Richmond and if anyone needs a ride, no more than 3 people, I might be able to give them one. But we need a set date now, even if we don't know where we're going to play.

I'll throw out the first possible day, July the 10th which is a Saturday.

I would most likely need a ride up to Pevs. But, if its the 10th i wouldne be able to make it, because the 11th is the VPC. I think the 17th would be a better weekend

Does anyone have any digital video recording equipment and editing software. I have this masterful video piece in my head that I would like to produce with some AO -VA footage.

Also does PBA have any more added fields besides their one good hyperball field? I havent been there in years.

Im gonna break down and say lets go richmond area. It is most central to accomodate most. AO-IL guys are driving 3 hours go get some good ballin. You monkies should be inspired by that.

Is PBA still field paint only, Splatt is too right?
