Can I get awarm AO Meet and Greet!?!?!?

    Hey everyone,

I guess I'm looking for a home to belong to since I got my recent purchase!!

Just one question though .... my RT-ULE seems to be a gas hog ...

Anyone else have a problem with it eating up a 68ci 4500 tank in one hopper load of shots????

The only thing I regret and will have to fix is that I should have gone with the double trigger. But I've always shot with a single so I didn't really think it would make a difference. Actually it doesn't but it would make life a little easier.

Welcome to AO! Nice setup. Look around for a deal on a double trigger. You can find a good used intelliframe for around $90.

The X-valve is not the most efficient valve. But what it lacks in efficiency it makes up for in performance. Don't know why you only get 1 hopper out of it tho. You should get at least 3 times that many shots.

Any cocker threaded barrel that costs more than $30 will work good.

            Welcome to AO ...

Just to make some of the mods happy ... Make the search button your friend... you can learn a lot ...

Very nice set up .. but there isn't much you can do ... the Mag is inefficent by nature... Hey even the mighty mag isn't perfect... again plenty on this topic if you look... Advice: Make All Day Air purchases your friend...expecally if you like to play with reactive mode...

As for barrels... The Stock 2 piece RT barrel is actually good quality unlike a lot of stock barrels ... you don't need to be in a hurry to replace it... getting an I-Frame as Zap said might be your best first investment... again really helps with the rapid fire when playing reactive...

Enjoy your stay ... it is a nice place over all...

not completely true.... although j&j ceramics are right around 30$ they work perfect... but if your looking to stay cheap and jsut get one barrel Lapco or J%J is were its at...

now when you say just 1 hopper... were you serious? cuase off a 68/45 you should be able to get roughly 800-1000 shots off easily. i know with my 88/45 i can get between 1200 and 1400 so if your really only getting 200 off a 68/45 theres a problem with your marker

Yeah, mags are gas hogs, but not THAT bad. Maybe there's a tiny leak somewhere. I usually get about 650 shots on a 68ci. Oh, unless you're doing a ton of rapid firing. That'll suck up gas like nobody's business.

                    Well ... truth is ...

I finally gased my tank up and got the gun ready for some test firing .... So yeah I guess I was running at the trigger .... CAN YOU BLAME ME!!!

If rapid fire sucks that much gas then I'll monitor it when I'm out and see what the performance is like with a controled burst here and there.

I'll be at Paintball Sam's for the scenario game on the 19th. It's to much fun to pass up.

Granted I have to do some more of these or I'll be doing a lot of when my body gives out on me.

Just can't play the way I used to when I was younger .... But with age comes experience and it's won for me non-stop ...

And after the game is over I'll be doing a lot of this

-That's a great tank too, is that the "the reg" by air america? A 68ci tank filled up to 4500psi, should give you about 1000 shots.
a hopper (140 balls) is really bad. What may be happening is that you might be getting a hot fill and that might be short of 3000psi, some fields or stores only fill to 3000psi and if the fill is warm then it will decompress when it cools down. Also the level 10 needs about 800psi to cycle properly, so the last 750psi in your tank is useless to you on the field. Also if your velocity is too high it will lower your shot coun't, and if your paint is too small for the barrel you may be wasting some air there too.

                      -Good luck!

                        Thanks for the info ...

As for an update, I'll be picking up my Warp Feed from TK tomorrow in my attempt to support the little man.

I'll post a new pic when that is done.
