I'm not going to IAO. I just got back from a 2 week vacation and I'm itchin' to play.

I voted for Splat Bros. but I won't mind playing at Pevs, I'd just prefer Splat Bros. because it's more convenient for most of the State of Virginia.

ok, heres the deal, we central guys, and hopefully coast guys will come up to pevs this time. but next time it has to be somewhere down central area.


I might be making a weekend trip out of this, i have a relative not too far from that area. so if i do i wont be able to take anyone up there, but i can bring someone home. If not, then i can probably bring several people round trip.

We need to finalize a date for this event. It's almost July already. O_O

I'm making plans to visit my grandparents that live in Frederick, MD a few days before then take the leisurely 30 minute drive down to Leesburg. Should we stick with July 17th (Saturday) or move it to the 18th (Sunday)? Either day is fine for me and both dates seem to be the most popular.

However, to get a finalized idea I vote for the 17th of July, all day at Pevs.

Guys, we do not wanna have an AO day the same day as a Pev's tourney. It wouldn't be pretty. Hell, I don't even think Pev's would let us.

I vote for August 1st, or any other time in August. First, because I won't be here on the 18th, and I don't think I'd be able to ball on the 17th. And 2nd, because that'll give us just that much longer to plan and get people.

This may be a stretch, but how does everyone feel about the 11th? It's a Sunday.

But I imagine the 1st of August is probably the best option since it's farther off so planning is easier.

Pevs 3man practice july 11th that would be cool its 10$ and all day air and you play on the airball fields but you have to regesiter teams on pbnation and there is like a 20 team limit but i will probably not be there i'm trying out for a new team :)

Isn't that IAO? Maybe I'm wrong, but for some reason I thought that's why nobody was mentioning it in this thread. Although I still vote for August, I won't be here that 25th weekend either. Damn me and my love for backpacking...

I think either late July or early-mid august would be best. It'll give us some time to plan things out and get the most amount of people committed to this. If we rush and have an early July meet, we are going to alienate some people from going. Since IAO may be a big deal for some people, why don' we do it the weekend after (July 31st or August 1st)?

Yeah I agree we shouldn't do it the same day as a Pevs tourney. It'd be too hectic that day.
