I didn't see this thread till now,

26yo from south of the Canton Area... been playing about 10+ years... Typically have 2-4 mags at any given time...

Ok as for fields... Splat in Canal Fulton is nice... Bruce the owner is a friend and would give us some deals ( He use to run the shop/fields my cousin owned for him)... He speed ball fields are top notch... but I hate to say it if we want any real woods fields he only really has one and it is on the side of hill with flooding problems at the bottom...

If we want a larger area.. Splatterpark in Columbus or Prof. Lumpy's in South East Ohio ( Black Cat had a large sceniro there this fall. )

As for BlackCat Scenerio's ... My group knows them and has dealings with them. One of my good friends actually has his compressor and his Dodge right now at his Autorepair shop, tuning it up for him. I could start the process if we ant to go that way and have a get together centered around his next scenrio game ?

As for Dates... I like late spring early summer once the holdays are over and the weather stablaizes a little like the end of May? I got a crew of about a dozen guys I play with about half with Mags... They are not AO members but they are part of the Mag family that will add to the total of Mags attending... (( Maybe a few more mags with them by then as well ))

Great! Now looking at spring/summertime for logistical & weather reasons. Vanced, I'd appreaciate it if you could put the idea in Black Cat's head, just don't push it too hard yet, we'd need commitments for that.

Well when it comes to fields... I don't know why it didn't dawn on me... (( I think it is because I haven't played there yet ))

DUGH ! - BlackCat Paintball is opening their own home field in Cambridge Ohio Right off the interstate at the intersection of I-77 & I-70 a fairly easy drive from most of the state. Supposedly it is going to quite large with plenty of speed & woods ball options... and now has my vote once I check into it a little bit...

And not to mention Blackcat is now alligned with AGD and we may be able to provoke Tom and the powers that Be to maybe make this a little something special being the first AO-OH Day ?

But know the 2005 IAO in Pittsburgh is susposadly on July 27-31st and AGD always makes a showing there... and odds are I am sure blackcat might as well... I'll probably play at it as well... so I think if we are going to do this... It'll have to be at least a month + on either side of IAO so maybe late May to middle of June. (( Humm maybe I'll make it my Birthday game on June 12th.. LOL .. ))... again I'll see what I can find out from Blackcat...

I dun no where that is and bring your own stuff sounds iffy because i hate buying paint and holding it for a while and bringin my own air will suck cause i only have a 68/3k.


I vote mohawk just because it is big enough to acompany 50+ people. I relaly doubt 50 of us will show tho im just saying it is huge. Best bet to go there is in early spring when the plants arent all overgrown.

i vote we go somewhere with a nice airbal/hyperball field..not TPA for certain reasons....but anyways i voted sometime in april/may so the weather is actually not cold and so on but lmk
