AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I think it is time for two basic steps - a roll call for 8/21 and a call to Valley Thunder to see how they would handle a group. We have to have some idea of how many will be playing in order to get a commitment from the field, but from my point of view the AO days that have allowed us to play with our own group have been the best by far.
if we pick valley thunder, let me know. i am very good friends with the manager (tony) and if i have anything to do with the group, i'm sure they will let us be. once we get a head count, i'll see about getting a group discount, tony is a mag guy after all and will probably jump in a few games with us. also, minors will have to have wiavers signed and notorized prior to arriving at the field unless accompanied by their legal guardian. i can fax a copy of the waiver to whom ever needs one, just pm me with a fax number and who to send it attention to.
Eatem Alive - Can you find out if you can work on some discount for AO? Say a group of at least 15-20, that's the usual show. And let them know we might be going there this month for AO day, as long as the majority vote for it.
Like I stated before, I doubt NorCal will be able to cater our needs with what seems to be 2 fields. So with their normal crowd plus the AO crowd, for sure we'll have to blend in. But say if we went to Extreme or VT, there's plenty of fields and the ppl there are more than happy to give us our own. So, I vote Extreme or VT !!
i will talk to tony and see about a deal for us. by the way, don't let that pic of the lego field fool you. there is no grass at this time of year. that field is awesome when somebody is rocking 20 bps at the lego you are hiding behind, it sounds cool. the urban field has two short buses, a pickup truck, and a couple of boats from "small world". and again, the waivers are very important to remember, they are a very big deal to tony.

When I played at VT the Lego course was my favorite field. Lots of cool angles to shoot, but be prepared because it's a loooooong field and running to the fifty is like 100 yards!!
I ref/play at Nor Cal, so I have a bit of information if you guys are interested. I talked to nastymag today at the field. If you guys have any questions you can pm or email me ([email protected]) and I can find out the answer.
Yes, it's white fill paint only, you can bring your own paint if you want.
If mommas boys played out fine with 2 other teams at Nor Cal I'm sure you guys can have room to play to :) The fields are 10 man fields. (Each field is 40 some bunkers, xball also has a 13' X)
There are 3 fields. 1 Xball 2 normal airball, hopefully we will get the fourth one up within the month. (The field is no problem, but we need to put up new netting and stuff).
