If the drive time is about the same, I'm all for trying a new field. I think shade this time of year is something we should consider. Does anyone know how the field in Petaluma feels about private groups of self equipped players?

I don't have any preference to a date. I'll either be free or not. I'm off until 8/14, but I may not be free, depending on when you plan on playing.

yeah lets find a good place like, extreme, where we get to chose the fields we play
not too crowded, or a place large enough to handle a crowd, and friendly refs!

call before we make plans, so they can tell us if they can handle a crowd of bout 25 players

Norcal group is very friendly, they have three fields, for example today they made the entrence free because they where reopening after the county fair. ( it doesnt smell like cattle very much ...dont worry).thye have benches in under shade ...the shade being there all the time.
the refs are all very nice, humm prices are normal. if you get there before 9 am , you get a case of paint plus entrence for 6o. Its only a Very short walk to the fields. close to plenty of fast food places . And restrooms....... that have urinals,stalls , and showers. plus a men and women section.

Bad things ...

it white paintonly
they sell the feild paint for decent prices. 55.
and you can bring piant for no charge to. its just gotta be white.

im there almost everyweend... so i'll ask Justin ( owner) if we could play by ourselves.
they seperate the experienced and newbs when there is enough people. and they run frequnet games.

3man beginner - $125 per team. 5 man rookie - $200 per team.

OK I talked to Justin of www.norcalpaintballpark.com He said that as long as, we give him a 2 week notice, that we could have a field for ourselfs. We ref ourselfs if we want a ref we would have to put down a deposit. so lets decide if we want to try this place out, if so when?

Sounds fair enough. Deposits are a PITA to arrange. We're all pretty honest, so we dont really need one of their ref's. If everyone agrees to try the new field, we need a date.

Well, with school done and no major tournaments coming up, I'm definitely due to show up at am AO day. Norcal sounds good to me, just let me know the date.
