    Looking for Socal Players

Hey everyone, new here so hello!

Looking for a group of players who get together regularly. Used to play in Norcal 7 years ago, but am in Socal now wanting to get back into the game. Any advice on some good PB retailers with good selection and employees that know their stuff would be great too. I know things have changed a bit since back when, so I need a good place to go drop some $$$.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

First of all, Welcome to AO.

SoCal is pretty big, I'm from San Diego and I've been playing VELOCITY regularly on Sundays. We usually get about 2 - 3 other AO'ers there on any given weekend. It's a decent park, admission is like 20 bucks. They have a store that is like a mile or two from DYE so needless to say, they have a bunch of dye stuff. The staff seems to know what they are doing and prices are usually about $5-10 more than what you would find on the internet.

If your further north you'll probably want to check out SC Village in Corona. It seems like that is where much of the AO'ers go. I havn't been there yet so I can't vouch but It looks like the best in Socal in.

Just keep an eye on this forum, most people around here are pretty friendly.

BTW are you playing this weekend? next?

      Thanks

Thanks for the speedy reply. I should have been a bit more specific ... I am in the Los Angeles area. I have heard of SC Villge, but have also heard that it is full of very young teen plyers 12- 14. I generally prefer to play with older players.

Not plying this weekend as I have to replace my gear wich I sold off long ago. Used to own a minimag with MANY accessories. I know the markers have changed quite a bit since my day, so any good advice on markers would be great! I can pretty much afford to buy whatever I want, so no biggie there. I have been scoping the e-mag, any thoughts on this one? In fact, I would really appreciate any and all advice on gear, loaders, barrels, air systems. Everything was Co2 when I played.

I tend to go all out with my marker, so fire away any suggestions. Thanks again for your help. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

Well welcome. What kind of marker you looking for? RogueFactor (on this website) sells Automag stuff for good prices. That is if you want to give mags a whirl. Anyways. We commonly get together at SC Village. It's usually older guys with a few younger ones coming every now and then. The usual group get's together quite a bit. It usually consists of LeatherPants, No Skillz, Bulldog, RogueFactor, myself, USAF Flyboy w/a mag and a few others that come sparingly. Keep an eye out on this part of the forum and catch us one time when we go out. We usually play the Arenas (Speedball/Hyperball) games.
        Sorry, I'm old
