Those of you who have gone to a Texas AO day know how awesome they are. If you haven't made it to one yet, you have really missed out- but you have another chance! Last July's Austin AO day was more fun than playing paintball anywhere else...well, winning a NPPL Super 7 event might be pretty cool, but i've never done that 
Anyways, the point is there were games with 50+ people on a MASSIVE airball field and it was a blast! I didnt personally attend TEXball earlier this year, but i heard it yielded similar high numbers.
OK, now you're asking yourself, "Why isn't Clare or Curtis the one telling us about this event?" Well, the answer is simple: i spoke to both of them earlier this summer about putting together a TX AO meet. They both have extremely busy schedules and were unable to organize a meet. After talking to them, they suggested that i speak to Mr. Joe Petty (Vern1 on AO), owner of www.pettypb.com , about holding an AO meet at his field. They had spoken to him about it, so he was prepared to talk to me and help host a meet at his field sometime this summer.

Here's a few reasons why you should show up: massive airball field to play on, extremely good paint prices, the option to BYOP, CHEAP enty/all day air fee, covered staging area, food and drinks you can purchase if needed, 4500PSI fills (he's got the means to keep up with 4500 fills all day for 200+ ppl), and great AOers to play paintball with! Make sure and be there!
Mr. Petty is giving us an excellent deal on the entry/all day air/optional BYOP fee...he more than cut it in half for us!...

-$7 for entry/all day air for one day (no extra BYOP fee
-Brown Box/White Box paint: $40 per case
-RPS Big Ball: $45 per case
-Draxxus Blaze OR RPS Premium: $55 per case
-Draxxus Inferno OR RPS EVIL: $65 per case
-Or, BYOP...while this is an option, let's try to help out a fellow AOer and give him some GREAT business!

Here's what YOU need to do if you want to attend this meet:
-Check www.pettypb.com for field info, Maps, WAIVERS, etc.
-Post on this thread that you will be there, along with how many people you will be bringing, and how many cases of paint yall will need (Mr. Petty needs an aproximate number for the day).
-Let us know if you need a ride, hopefully someone coming from your area will have room.
-Thats it! Easy and simple.
-Feel free to bring vido cameras and cameras to take pictures of the action...We need pics to be posted after the meet is over. If someone wants to make a music video, that would be cool.

The date is set for Saturday, August 21st. This is kind of rushed, but thats just how it happened...only a little over a month to prepare, so SPREAD THE WORD! We will start playing at 10am and can go as late as 6pm...GET THERE EARLY TO GET READY, WE WILL START AT 10.
Remember the rules, refer to this post for the latest info; it will constantly be updated. Don't forget the important things- maps, chairs, masks for ppl who will be watching, signed waivers if you're under 18, and barrel condoms (plugs are NOT acceptable). We'll have nametags as well for everyone so the newcomers know who's who.
