I believe the first post says that in order to get the $75 dollar reduced price, you have to pre-register, otherwise it's $65 for a case and $20 or $25 for all day air/admission.

you could. but, it will only get you one case of paint, and either all day air, or the field fee.. one or the other. I think field fee. so, pre-register.

can i ask that next time AO day be held at a a) more central to new englad location b) cheaper...

seems that the deal you work is a 10 dollar discount joey....why not go to camp...(where yes tehre is no air ball boo hoo) and spend 10 field fee and BYOP?

i have never seen a valid explanation for this.

yes, you can ask. whether event organizers take into consideration your request, is another situation entirely.

leo. work with me here. $65, plus 10, plus 15 is? hang on, ill give you time to open calc, or get your ti-92 out. thats right. its $90. Personally, I don't like camp's fields, and dont feel they are adequate enough to hold the groups of people we usually bring. Personally, I dont want to play attack and defend all day, as that is the largest the field gets. No offense to camps owners, I just dont find it adequate enough to hold the event there.

Dan, and more recently Dan and I have organized this event to be at CCPB. Dan works for the field owner, so, has generally been able to get cheaper prices on Paint and field fees/air. This year, I have worked more of a seperate deal with John from CCPB. We tried to organize with Canobie this year, but, their prices were noticably more expensive, hence, why I went with CCPB again. Anyone who has attended any AO NE event that was previously held at CCPB, they will tell you the fields are nice, prices were decent, and the staff was great. I think the price of $75 for first case, air and field is a good price. not many other fields around here, that offer the robust field setup that CCPB does, will offer that. The fact, that the more people we get go pre-register, the lower paint prices go, is also good.

in short leo.. I guess im asking you to stop complaining. I havent heard word one as a complaint from anyone else. Everyone I have talked to has said that $75 is a fair price for that. Feel free to organize your own event, go to camp and do it. Im not about to stop you from doing it.
